Oh Mary! She's so lovely. She looks nice. What's that previous winner called? I have the memory of a sieve.

SwedishEdith · 08/05/2016 21:29

They just rotate the soap winners each year.

woody2976 · 08/05/2016 21:31

isnt line of duty going to be nominated for anything? mary berry and Katherine Jenkins both looked very classy.

freshprincess · 08/05/2016 21:32

raj looks good when he's not dressed like a geek.

LIZS · 08/05/2016 21:34

Is yellow "in" or something? Confused

TheTravellingLemon · 08/05/2016 21:37

Blah. Not a fan of celebrity juice, I'm afraid.

TheTravellingLemon · 08/05/2016 21:39

I don't want to lower the tone or anything, but phwoar. TH is a bit of alright.

woody2976 · 08/05/2016 21:41

Suranne Jones doesnt look like she just had a baby!!!

TheTravellingLemon · 08/05/2016 21:45

Nice to see Flop getting the recognition he deserves.

Hepzibar · 08/05/2016 21:47

Why wasn't Happy Valley nominated in any category?

BoGrainger · 08/05/2016 21:52

I've realised I've never watched anything with Lenny Henry in. I just tend to think of him as Dawn French's husbandBlush

HeffalumpHistory · 08/05/2016 21:55

Alan Rickman had a big bit in film baftas.

Why is it such a praise bbc night? Have I missed something?

woody2976 · 08/05/2016 21:55

no happy valley no line of duty no night manager.

Hepzibar · 08/05/2016 21:56

Seems like a nice chap.

I love everyone tonight. I love you all Grin Grin

Oh & just to add, didn't think Fearne looked great. That "spending hours so you look like you've spent no time at all" didn't really work. Note the boob half out

HeffalumpHistory · 08/05/2016 21:57

Also just realised I'm watching 15mins behind. Sorry!!

Raahh · 08/05/2016 21:58

No Idea why last year's Happy Valley was over looked, but Line of Duty/Night manager might feature next year (no idea what the cut off date was).

AintNobodyHereButUsKittens · 08/05/2016 22:00

Line of Duty wasn't broadcast at the right time to be eligible for these awards (Keeley woz robbed last year though, and if she's not nominated next year I will be furious).

The BBC plaudits are because there's a perceived political attack - specifically on their right to broadcast popular prime time stuff like Strictly.

RTKangaMummy · 08/05/2016 22:01

IIRC those shows you mention will be in next year's BAFTA awards

As in they were after the cut off deadline for this year's votes

BossWitch · 08/05/2016 22:06

Oh my stars... Tom Hiddleston strides across a stage rather well doesn't he?
