Anyone else watching this? Its being shown every evening this week at 10pm. No idea why they chose to screen it like that but hey.

I've seen the first 2 episodes, shown as a double bill on Monday night. I loved it. It's extremely dark and reminded me of the League of Gentlemen. I loved the brother and sister who hate each others' guts. I loved the horrendous 'sexy' dancing to intense classical piano playing. I loved the dad who is on the edge of something very intense indeed. The mum and her terrifying engulfing need for hugs that nobody wants and her cringe-making flirting with the builders and every man in a 10 mile radius, her desperate sadness at the state of her marriage and determination to remain in denial about it. The cast are fantastic. Olivia Colman does pain like nobody else.

What I didn't get at all was the seemingly fake Japanese character Confused Very strange.

Ooh thanks for that lovely photo!

His partner is the equally gorgeous and talented Julia Davis and they do indeed have 8 year old twin boys

I live alone now, watched the whole series yesterday and laughed out loud/banged chair arm in places....Shun and his pull-out illustrated book ? "And my sister...squash" (pic of girls legs under a lump of rock" bloody glorious! Grin

I loved it. Shun's family in the forest was beautiful, like a painting.
I want a cloak and retro brooch.

After seeing a clip of this on Gogglebox and thinking that it looked worth a punt we watched the first 2 episodes last night.

Thought it was completely bonkers but liked it.

Agree with whoever said it had a touch of League of Gentleman about it but also thought there was a tiny touch of Twin Peaks about it.

Was it really shown every night for a week? Seems an odd way of doing things.

I loved this, thought Shun's story was so moving, loved the description of depression and the changing relationship of the twins. So pleased I watched it. And I fancy Julian.

I absolutely loved it. Julian Barratt was brilliant - they all were actually. It's a really funny, sad, original, charming series.
I was in love with Shun by the end, he is gorgeous!

Started watching it after seeing it on goggle box. Just finished it now.

I thought it was awesome. Highly recommend it. Laughed and cried a lot!
