Is there a thread on this - or am I the only one who watched it? Grin

I felt sad for some of those children - their expectations are deluded to say the least. Not the children's fault, parents have a lot to answer for but also the agency for encouraging people to tell their children they are talented when they clearly are not.

The modelling - while not my cup of tea and not something I would do for my child - I think less harmful, although I expect very dull for children to sit around doing that. Having said that little Ornella was the most adorable baby - her mum wasn't deluded in thinking she is gorgeous and she's saving the money for the child's benefit.

But generally it just made me a bit depressed and irritated.A lot of adults either living vicariously through their children, or making bucks out of parents and children;s unrealistic dreams. Some of those children are going to have a very hard fall one day.

Vlad should sing theme songs from horror films.

seasidesally · 03/05/2016 20:19

poor boy

seasidesally · 03/05/2016 20:21

there seems to be a particular type of parent that wants there child to do this

mostly not all, but there is a pattern

Vixxfacee · 03/05/2016 20:26

Callums mum is a mumsnetter. £200 on food for the month.

KurriKurri · 03/05/2016 22:04

Anyone else think Callum's brother was the star in that family ? - proper funny little character - I think he'd have got acting roles.

South and West BerlinGrin

dottypotter · 04/05/2016 13:01

callums parents should give it up spending all the family budget chasing dreams! They have another son what about him? Even when he did get a job it was only a small amount. There are lots of good looking lads around its tough I think if you can sing and act as well you have something extra. Callum didn't have much really.

Vlad's stepdad creeped me out.
The kid had his own ambitions that should be supported, who knows what his voice will do when it changes.

Agree Callum's brother had a lot more about him, he could have done the acting castings too.

RTKangaMummy · 08/05/2016 16:08

For some reason episode 4 is on today on channel 4 @ 5.25pm

RTKangaMummy · 08/05/2016 16:09

What I mean is did I miss it last week or is it a repeat or the same as next week in the evening Hmm

KurriKurri · 08/05/2016 18:44

This evening was the last episode - for some reason they have randomly changed the day and time for the last one - so no doubt many people will have missed it.

It was a nice one tonight as well - some lovely children, little Jack was adorable and very talented. And much more sensible parents than on previous episodes.

Omg i totally agree. Callum's brother had star quality. He would do well acting. He could play Kirk on Corrie's son or similar.
I really felt for sweet little Vlad, being pushed like that. There's prob more money in software development than music!

228agreenend · 11/05/2016 20:54

Definitely less pushy parents, and more rounded families.

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 12/05/2016 19:56

Abbie has gorgeous hair.

We're some of them in the interview bits but not the actual show? The boy with very curly hair and the one with the longish red/blond hair.
