Thursdays are a nightmare- I am backwards and forwards between various after school things. So, I've missed chunks of this evening.

I am soooo happy with Rafa's form .

Marion is talking about the Maria/Cornet match, which was apparently a bit messy, with talks of sportsmanship. Given all the antics that Serena gets up to, intimating that a player can't have an injury and still win, is a bit rich, Marion.

The girl who Cornet played was really peed off. Didn't shake her hand, looked like she told her off and wagged her finger at her.

Cornet is a bit of a drama queen, she turned away and acknowledged the crowd then sobbed into her hands.

The last thing I'd seen in that match prior to the finish was Cornet being helped mud-game off court with cramp. Thought she'd retire actually.

Bit naughty.

As you said, they always have an excuse for Serena, in case she gets beat.

Gasquet playing Kyrgios again tomorrow- I have everything crossed for Richard, though I place bets on the commentary harping on about Gasquet losing a 2 set lead to Kyrgios at Wimbledon 2 years back.

Yes, they always have excuses to hand for Djok, and Andy too. You know, just in case they lose, well we told you so he's tired/poorly tummy/baby/only player ever ever ever to come back from 2 sets down... etc And don't mention Mauresmo

And I'm sick of the Murray interviews they stick in whenever there is a gap. What will they show when he loses?Probably Djok ones they have in reserve.
