I am going to watch it but as I have braces on my top and bottom teeth it may be a bit embarrassing - but my top ones are ceramic so are kind of invisible. so I don't have a mouth full of metal iyswim

too much new year tv and not enough time what with ER, Ugly Betty, Desp Housewives, Nip/Tuck and a new Prison Break, I may have to give up my degree and just watch tv

I'll tell dd that Skyler - she's having her fixed braces on at half term.

She's seen the trailer for Ugly Betty and is afraid that she's likely to have a new nickname very soon

That occurred to me too saggar - maybe because I was that girl with braces. Can you console her with the undisputed fact that 'Ugly' Betty is anything but?

I had double train tracks for four years as well as glasses at school .
Seriously, I see so many adults now with braces I think it is quite normal and EVERYONE had them at some point when I was at school....I just had them for a bit too long....

Oh and it will be worth it. My friend had braces as an adult to get her teeth fixed for her wedding photos. I thought she was completely mad at the time as I never saw anything wrong with her teeth, but when I was able to compare it had made a huge difference

I had a removable one as a teenager but it didn't work

I must say though I do love my train tracks

It has given me so much confidence

As my orthodontist says people will see them and know you want to improve your smile

DS gets his fitted soon too
