Heard about a drama called The Five coming to sky 1 soon on radio 2 this morning. It's written by Harlen Coban (the thriller novelist)
It's about a group of friends haunted by their teenage years when when of their little brothers went missing in their care...
I thought it sounded great!!'

My twin grandsons share the part of Jesse in The Five so it is particularly disturbing to watch their parts for us, especially seeing their faces on missing posters. Makes you treasure them even more.
The storyline is a bit confusing but I think you'll find it all makes sense towards the end.

I'm hooked. We've just binge watched all available episodes over the last couple of days!!

Girls were too traumatised to go to the police. The shelter would t have forced them to go, only when they were ready.

It's all starting to make a bit of sense now I've seen last 2 eps but it'll be a long wait until Friday. Glad that Alexa's father (Kenton the teacher) was safe after all.

Omg. What is going on?

The preview for this looked really promising. I watched the first episode, but everything was filmed in such darkness I had difficulty following it - I was even struggling with indoor scenes. Was going to give it another go, but can't be bothered peering at the screen to work out what's going on.

I'm really enjoying it. We binged watched last night and think we are in episode 3. I think it's a bit different to the everything else out at the minute.

Just caught up with it.

Won't their prints be all over the shooting scene in the house?

Love this, it is brilliant, so many twists and turns, resisting the urge to wiki the book and find out the ending.

I'm totally hooked. Though some of it has needed a second watch!! LOVE IT.

I couldn't get past the first ten minutes. I found all the characters really contrived and irritating.

I'm still watching - love it ! I mean I'm very confused but I can't wait to find out what's going on ! The end of the last episode was tense ! What is on those tapes ???!!!!!

I'm really looking forward to the last episodes - I hope it all gets resolved as I really don't know where it's going!

I think you just needed to stick with it after episode one as it was so confusing but I don't mind that ! I'd expect it from Harlen Coban !

People gave up too soon !

I gave it 4 episodes, then stopped. Too far fetched and badly acted for me I'm afraid X

The ending was awful-really disappointed. It was too perfect.

You have a point about the ending, did make me cry a bit though.

I enjoyed it too, although did feel it dragged in the middle, maybe 8 episodes would have been better? Must admit I did shed a tear when Mark & Jesse held hands in the woods as adults.
