New programme on Channel 4, Tuesday at nine o'clock. Can't wait to see how they're all doing.

I completely agree with you purple and unfortunately some of the people who think/say those things turn out to be people you think you can trust. It's a massive life lesson having a child with disabilities, I think that goes without saying. Lesson is most probably the wrong word, it's like doing a collection of gcses that you have no tutor for :o and then you are eventually the teacher of a bespoke subject

William is a lovely young man. He seems happier now than he was in previous series. I really hope he continues to do well.

Zoe is wonderful. She will go far.

I've watched them all too. Loved William sitting on the bench with his friend on their date. So sweet.

Have watched this since it began and it was so lovely to catch up with the families.

I was so thrilled to see how well William is doing - I remember at one stage it looked like he was going to be non-verbal with unmanageable behavioural issues, but he's blossomed into a lovely, charming, affectionate young man with a cheeky grin and a great sense of humour! Testament, I'm sure, to his exceptional mum.

Shelbie has been close to the end so many times, I don't know how her lovely mum holds her nerve. Was lovely to see that Christopher has all grown up and that little Sophia is free of trisomy, the clip they showed of him at 10 years old waiting for the ambulance with tears in his eyes made me well up.

Zoe is amazing isn't she? She's always been an old head on young shoulders. I hope the cruelty of her peers doesn't knock her confidence too much, because she has such enormous potential. Her one-liners crack me up! At one point she was pushing a wheelchair but nothing much was said about it - does she use a chair now or was it footage from after one of her operations?

Love this programme, I have watched it from the beginning and really struggled to believe they were nearly 16 Shock

Lovely to see all the kids seem to be doing well, I got very angry when it looked like William wasn't going to get the medication he needs! It seems unfathomable to me that a medication that could potentially save his life could be withheld Angry I thought what his mum said about literally having to fight for his life was very moving.

Zoe is just fantastic, it seemed like she had been struggling socially a bit at secondary which I find really sad as she is such a lovely girl. I hope as she gets older that will change, she is clearly very bright and I'm sure will succeed in her ambitions.

The fact that Shelbie has done so well is testament to her mum and step dad, their devotion, love and care shine through.

Anyone watching tonight?

Wolfiefan · 08/03/2016 21:48

Watching but not live.

TeeJaye · 08/03/2016 22:03

Blubbing again! Fantastic ending with William pinching Zoe's Mum's bum making it look like his Dad then shouting "Nice Booty"! :D

TeeJaye · 08/03/2016 22:09

Looks like that's it for another 3 years? Sad

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 08/03/2016 22:15

I know I can't believe its only the 2 episodes Sad love the series, all the kids are just amazing.

Think Emily and Zoe are such lovely girls, their mums must be so proud. I was crying along with them at the end, my dd is 10yo and it feels like she is growing up so fast!

Hamish is going to do so well, so focussed and obviously great support from his mum and dad.

I thought Shelbie and William looked well, even though they are so poorly it is nice to see them enjoying themselves and having fun.

ineedaholidaynow · 08/03/2016 23:03

Just finished watching, and blubbing away. Such lovely children

ouryve · 08/03/2016 23:05

I'm such a blubbery mess, now.

Wolfiefan · 08/03/2016 23:05

Amazing families.
Such humour and bravery and unstinting love despite all the worry and problems.
The true meaning of being a parent.

ALemonyPea · 09/03/2016 10:47

Just watched last nights episode. I'm a blubbering mess. The music they play when showing the photos in reverse just made it worse.

Zoe is such an amazing young lady, so positive all the time.
