Don't go near "The Celestial Toymaker". Fans of a certain vintage rave about it, but I thought the one episode that exists was just awful. It's Peter Purves and jackie lane playing party games and puzzles in a room for twenty minutes! Like a 1965 version of "The Crystal Maze" without the tension and humour.

gis a shout if you want to borrow anything....reckon ive got every suviving ep. and complete story on either vhs or dvd (incl. telesnap reconstructions)....except timelash cos its shit.

as a really useless note of trivia...it's a misconception that 'city of death' was completely written by douglas adams, it was co-authored by then producer graham williams (from a plot by david fisher) and broadcast under the pseudonym 'david agnew'.....see? told you it was useless!!!.......i am soooo the sad anorak! lol
