New thread for more random chat about the jungle.

Make yourselves comfy and avoid the dunny.

Was I imagining it last night when I heard Philip Schofield's voice saying 'watch out for me in the jungle tomorrow, running around in my underpants' or something like that?
I wasn't actually watching, I was doing dd's homework for her.
I notice he is not on This Morning this morning.

var123 · 01/12/2015 13:01

She's full of her own self-importance. She seems to think that its much worse for someone to slightly frown at her than if she verbally rips them to shreds.

Its a bit depressing hearing her go off at people. She is vicious (and proud of it). I know these things get emphasised up or down by the editing, but there's no getting away from the fact that she said these things.

Keiron seems to have had enough of her though which is something.

Oddly enough, because of the bizarre impression of people like those on digital spy, I think she would actually win if it was a vote for a winner tonight. Everyone has a strongly held opinion on her, unlike the others so she'll have people who support her. Less screen time is the key to getting her voted out.

What is Duncan Bannatyne doing in the jungle? He's incredibly wealthy and he's 66. Some of them are doing it to re-launch their careers or to pay off their mortgages, but he doesn't need it for either thing.

Lady C's dislike of him seems to relate to his class and his refusal to cow-tow to her. It makes me like him that he won't let her control him.

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/12/2015 14:02

Soup gate
T shirt gate
Beatle gate

All went on forever / she is a bully and if was a man saying what she said to a woman it would be a different story

Shame you don't vote who you want out / tho they wouldn't make as much money that way

And weird we get 5 votes on the app. I had all 5 on same person. Was Vicky then Duncan. Just don't want it to be lady cunt

MyVisionsComeFromSoup · 01/12/2015 14:12

Duncan has a v expensive divorce to pay for (according to the Digital Spy forum), plus is also potentially implicated in a fraud case in court soon (don't know if that's him personally, or one of his companies). That'll be why he's there.

ENtertainmentAppreciated · 01/12/2015 14:46

Duncan also has a 30 year old girlfriend with whom he's apparently hoping to start another family Confused

I haven't watched the last two nights, but I have seen the ITV2 show.

Brian was on last night and appears to have reconciled with Lady C. He seemed quite sure about that although it was with the qualification that he learned to stay on her good side and not confront her. So that's ok then Hmm

WotNoLoobrush · 01/12/2015 17:16

I'm quite intrigued by the app now. I didn't bother with it, mainly because I don't think I've got enough memory on the phone. Being able to vote 5 times a day - have I got that right?

PiperChapstick · 01/12/2015 17:30

Yes Wot. I have used all mine on Tony today as want him to outrank Lady C!

IamTheWhoreofBabylon · 01/12/2015 17:34

I was all meh about Tony but he is getting my votes now just to piss her off that he is there
I didn't like Duncan but when it comes to LC I can warm to him
She is not good TV

Nishky · 01/12/2015 17:43

I think Duncan is donating his fee to charity though isn't he? Bet he wishes he had just given a huge one off donation now Grin

jalopy · 01/12/2015 17:45

Lady C is a narcissist. She is hostile towards Tony and Duncan because they are the only ones remaining who are not submissive or apologetic to her. Her bullying and nastiness make uncomfortable viewing.

ChoccyJules · 01/12/2015 17:58

She certainly keeps viewers talking and that's what the producers want.

I disliked how Tony refused to do his part of the task way back, when he said he wouldn't serve anyone, I think that set her off and now she seems to have lost the plot, I do wonder if they're monitoring her mental health.

Don't like Tony much due to his attitude as mentioned above. Chris going backwards and 'never falling over' was hilarious. Think Kieron desperately trying to keep the peace between the warring factions.

var123 · 01/12/2015 18:15

Tony and Jorgie didn't want to wait upon Lady C because she'd already shown a liking for bossing others around (she'd been deputy head of camp).

Also, she'd already left everyone hungry twice by deciding not to attempt certain trails. One was understandable - sort of - but the other one was just because it was beneath her dignity.

So, Tony and Jorgie took the view that if it was good enough for her to pick and choose, then it was good enough for them. That's why they rejected it using the exact words Lady C had used when rejecting her trial.

Lady C realised that Tony was the ringleader, she can't stand to be challenged and since then she's been looking for opportunities to be vicious towards him.

She probably is mentally unwell.

IamTheWhoreofBabylon · 01/12/2015 18:17

I thought he was right
I think he would've waited on anyone but her
She would have been awful to him. I wouldn't wait on her either

var123 · 01/12/2015 18:22

I seriously doubt too that he'd have a problem helping someone out. It was just a point on principle regarding allowing Lady C to bully him.

Chippednailvarnish · 01/12/2015 19:00

I've also voted for Tony.

I hope they do a karaoke trial, just because it will piss the old boot off even more if he sang.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 01/12/2015 19:15

Duncan's possible fraud trial is about him, not one of his companies - he hid £10 million during his divorce.

I think Duncan is in there for the same reason Peter Andre went on Strictly - to try and get some positive PR and public goodwill before they were shown up for their truly awful behaviours in court cases. Both are due in court when their series ends.

I think George or Vicky will win. George is totally inoffensive and Vicky is quite funny.

Jorgie has been a huge disappointment. She came over very well in First Dates but she is the most boring camp mate by far. She is totally dullsville.

OP posts:
TotalConfucius · 01/12/2015 20:19

I too have used all today's votes on Tony. I cannot bear the thought that he will come out before She Who Shall Not Be Named. Once She is out I shall vote for George to win I think.

ChipsandGuac · 01/12/2015 20:36

The best thing that has happened in the series so far is when they held Duncan upside down and dunked him and all his Botox and fillers moved up his face. I died laughing at that.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 01/12/2015 20:42

Agree Chips.

He did get a black eye bless him

Go Vicky!!!!

She will give it her best :)

Bearbehind · 01/12/2015 21:13

If a man behaved as Colin is behaving he'd be branded a dirty old git.

Far from others think the reaction to her is misogynistic, I think she's a disgrace to womankind.

She's a bully, spiteful, vicious and the way she perves over men is revolting.
