The Susannah and Yvette of this series are hard to marry up with the ghost hunting/fashion nazism of their tv programmes. Not that I've watched much of either but I wasn't expecting sensible, jolly hockey sticks, no nonsense, mucking in, mothering from either of them.

Tony suggested the females do the laundry because I can't imagine they would want men washing their knickers etc.
