Or songs from films, if you prefer.

This is what they are singing-

WHITNEY WARNING

THE BOYS
Ché Chesterman : When A Man Loves A Woman from the movie When A Man Loves A Woman
Mason Noise : Men In Black from the movie Men In Black

THE GIRLS
Lauren Murray : Licence To Kill from the movie James Bond - Licence To Kill
Louisa Johnson : Everybody's Free from the movie Romeo & Juliet
Monica Michael : Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down) from the movie Kill Bill

THE OVERS
Anton Stephans : I Have Nothing from the movie The Bodyguard
Max Stone : Secret Garden from the movie Jerry Maguire

THE GROUPS
Reggie 'N' Bollie : Who Let The Dogs Out from The Rugrats Movie
4th Impact : Work It Out from the movie Austin Powers in Goldmember

Not exactly the most obvious choices- apart from the BodyguardGrin
'Who let the dogs out' should be fun. Hope they are dressed as dogs.

And it's another double elimination this week. I would prefer it if they did it like they used to- and told them on the Saturday night if they were in the bottom two (and binned another one off there and then) But I am evil.

So- til later. I may have to open the tub of twiglets that I bought for Christmas. knowing full well it wouldn't last that long

I think Rick Nastily is at risk, because i don't think his song is well known.

I want the binbags to go for being manipulative.

Spunky was up first- never a safe bet- and was really a bit forgettable. And he shouldn't be there anyway.

I'm still trying to fathom what Flack has got on. It is kind of lampshade-esque, but no one would hate a lamp enough to make it wear that. It's as though someone in wardrobe got a knitting machine for Christmas and a job lot of nylon.

dillite · 14/11/2015 21:41

How does Monica wipe with those claws on her hands?

The wardrobe people have gone downhill this year. And they were at the bottom of the hill already.

Greaterthanthesumoftheparts · 14/11/2015 21:42

Dobroy nochi Raahh

theredlion · 14/11/2015 21:42

Back tomorrow night for more of the unfolding horror.

Rousette - was an odd time to learn Russian- I started in 1984, my parents had to give school permission, in case they feared we were being turned into Communists Grin. Was the height of the Cold War and we had loads of those '4 minute warning' nuclear war leaflets in the classrooms.

So- til tomorrow everyone. It's a thrill a minute, isn't it?

Yeh, the curse of going first. The problem with rick nastily is that the second he goes off screen my brain erases any knowledge of his existance.

Anton should go.

Greaterthanthesumoftheparts · 14/11/2015 21:45

I'll be back tomorrow for results and will be up for an 'I'm a sleb' thread for whoever is up for it!

Greaterthanthesumoftheparts · 14/11/2015 21:46

raahh DSS mum is from the Ukraine so his first language is Russian, we speak in German which is a second language for both of us!

Raahh · 14/11/2015 21:48

That is very impressive Greater Grin

dillite · 14/11/2015 21:48

I think that spokoynoy nochi would be more correct, better.

dillite · 14/11/2015 21:49

greater, I mean greater.

Raahh · 14/11/2015 21:50

I think they have got rid of all the filler tonight- because X Factor was meant to finish at 10.15.

Obviously to make way for the news special.

OP posts:
Greaterthanthesumoftheparts · 14/11/2015 21:52

Ha raahh you wouldn't say that if you heard my terrible German, but it is very impressive for DSS.
DPs mother tongue is Danish, so DSS also has that as a second/third language (at 6 years old!!) It's amazing how they can learn so much so young. Anyway, see you tomorrow!

Greaterthanthesumoftheparts · 14/11/2015 21:53

Yes dillite spokoynoy nochi is actually what DSS says but I couldn't spell it :-/

Raahh · 14/11/2015 21:57

Greater- it's why I wish languages were taught earlier in British schools. Mine have learnt some Spanish in primary, but not much. By the time they reach secondary, for many, learning a language is too much like hard work. (Ds Sad)

Hi everyone, watching this on catch up this morning as we were round at friend's last night and they didn't have X factor on.

I hate to say that I have straighter than straight hair that won't even hold a curl Sad. I had it curled for my wedding and it was straight after an hour! I'd love curly hair. There's a mum at school who has THE most beautiful curls and it looks so soft and shiny.

dillite · 15/11/2015 11:34

Pickle I am pretty sure that curly hair isn't a must when watching xfactor.

InQuiteAPickle · 15/11/2015 12:17

Isn't it? Oh good, I thought I was about to be banished from the thread Grin.

I do envy curly hair though.

LineyReborn · 15/11/2015 15:54

I have curly hair so I will force myself to watch tonight at 8pm.

Roussette · 15/11/2015 18:21

And I want curly hair so I hope I'm allowed Grin

Raahh · 15/11/2015 18:38

all hair types welcome Grin

OP posts:
dillite · 15/11/2015 18:56

My pubes are curly, do they count?

Raahh · 15/11/2015 19:41

dillite there's always one Grin

I turned on to Strictly. Wtf has happened to Brandon Flowers? he looks as orange as Peter Andre, and is dressed like a bad cabaret act. And the song is rubbish.
