Or songs from films, if you prefer.

This is what they are singing-

WHITNEY WARNING

THE BOYS
Ché Chesterman : When A Man Loves A Woman from the movie When A Man Loves A Woman
Mason Noise : Men In Black from the movie Men In Black

THE GIRLS
Lauren Murray : Licence To Kill from the movie James Bond - Licence To Kill
Louisa Johnson : Everybody's Free from the movie Romeo & Juliet
Monica Michael : Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down) from the movie Kill Bill

THE OVERS
Anton Stephans : I Have Nothing from the movie The Bodyguard
Max Stone : Secret Garden from the movie Jerry Maguire

THE GROUPS
Reggie 'N' Bollie : Who Let The Dogs Out from The Rugrats Movie
4th Impact : Work It Out from the movie Austin Powers in Goldmember

Not exactly the most obvious choices- apart from the BodyguardGrin
'Who let the dogs out' should be fun. Hope they are dressed as dogs.

And it's another double elimination this week. I would prefer it if they did it like they used to- and told them on the Saturday night if they were in the bottom two (and binned another one off there and then) But I am evil.

So- til later. I may have to open the tub of twiglets that I bought for Christmas. knowing full well it wouldn't last that long

It's as thought Butlins Bognor Regis have put on their own amateur X Factor show for the summer season.

SisterNancySinatra · 15/11/2015 21:14

When I have to turn the volume down on a music programme then it's truly shit.

Roussette · 15/11/2015 21:27

Agree with all of that Hepzibar

It used to have a bit of class (maybe 'class' is too strong a word, but it wasn't so amateurish).

I also think the ritual humiliation is too much.

Bridgetsbluesoup · 15/11/2015 21:43

Dreadful! What was that clumsy shot that had all four people crammed in it standing in front of each other? And why did they let Monica have the mike for so long so she could start doing shout outs? I hate the fakery - the judges don't care about their acts, only about themselves. And Simon's face looks like it's been pumped up with a bicycle pump.

LineyReborn · 15/11/2015 21:49

That was so cringey with Olly and the result.

Ludoole · 15/11/2015 21:52

Bet olly had a bollocking after that.
I love olly and caroline but they were better suited to the xtra factor where they didnt have to watch what they said. I actually preferred xtra factor to the main show when they presented it . I dont even bother now as the current xtra factor hosts are dire

Bridgetsbluesoup · 15/11/2015 21:54

Yes they were fun on the xtra factor when there was less structure and pressure.

Jibberjabberjooo · 15/11/2015 22:18

Caroline and Olly are awful.

theliverpoolone · 15/11/2015 22:56

Caroline Flack makes Tess Daley look like the best presenter ever. She garbles her words so much and has added nothing to the audition stage or these live shows imo.

Collieputthekettleon · 16/11/2015 08:06

I didn't get a chance to watch the results. And I'm not going to because it sounded shite.

I didn't even know who Rita was until I started watching the X Factor. Haha! Flack shouldnt be presenting it. She's so terrible.

Oh well, bring on next week Grin

SheHasAWildHeart · 16/11/2015 09:20

Olly and Caroline need to attend basic interviewing/presenting classes. Like when Olly was talking to 1D and Harry was miles away. A better presenter would have stood in the middle so two members of 1D on either side of him making it easier for him to talk to them all, but instead he plonked himself at the end forgot about Harry and then awkwardly asked him if he was ok.

SheHasAWildHeart · 16/11/2015 09:22

Does anyone remember when Konnie Huq presented The Xtra Factor? (or did I imagine it?) Lovely girl but it was always so awkward and I feel like that whenever I watch Olly and Caroline.

BBQsAreSooooOverrated · 16/11/2015 09:26

Haha. Olly, what a buffoon!

WhataRacquet · 16/11/2015 09:35

Poor Ollie, I feel like he's been stitched up by whoever was in his earpiece. He was a bundle of nerves after that, telling Anton "go and join your X-Factor" Confused.

Anyway the whole thing is gone to shite and I just record it and fast forward most of it.

Debbriana1 · 16/11/2015 09:57

Olly made my night Smile

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 16/11/2015 09:58

DH says that Harry Styles has a restraining order against Caroline Flack and that is why Ollie had to do the 1D post-performance interview by himself.

Debbriana1 · 16/11/2015 10:04

With all the X factor hate that people have I love it. I love Rita ora, I think Simon is great ( even though a bit moody this year ), am ok with Nick Grimshaw and I don't really care if Cheryl's there or not. I like all of the contestants left and am starting to like mason noise even more. I thought his performance on Saturday was good. Anton needs a better mentor who actually cares.

I don't think we are meant to take the show seriously.

ThatsNotMyRabbit · 17/11/2015 12:25

Rita Ora talks SO much drivel. Just yada yada yada. I bet she's a cow too. She just seems very hard and charmless.

Why does Flack laugh so much and so loudly over nothing? She can't speak without laughing first.

Deadpan>>>>>>>camera cuts to her>>>>> "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA! See you after the break!!!"

Olly is so useless. He seems to have gone all posh this week. Wonder if they've given him emergency elocution lessons? At least they seem to have stopped him saying "Was you nervous?" Etc.

oneowlgirl · 19/11/2015 22:45

Agree with a lot of the comments on here, however what I do love about the show is that my 2 DSs (9 & 7) really enjoy it & so it's something we can all watch together. [Their favourites are Anton & Reggie & Bollie Grin).
