I wish I could have seen it.....the F word is on BBC now, but I don't know how old they are. I watch them religiously!

speedySleighmamahohoho · 06/12/2006 16:47

I do wish that Gordon would cut out or minimise the swearing - it hurts my ears!

speedySleighmamahohoho · 06/12/2006 16:49

Sunchowder, it was must see TV.

The restaurant was a debacle but the mother and her two daughters were something to behold - I have never seen such straight hair on orange heads, ROFLMHO

dara · 06/12/2006 16:49

The female chef was so sweet. But she looked as if she was a different species to the wannabe WAGs out front.

bundle · 06/12/2006 17:12

I barely hear what Gordo says, I was so rapt by his deep-fill wrinkles and the wannabe WAGs' terrible make-up/hair

WonderCod · 06/12/2006 17:13

they were ROUGH

southeastastra · 06/12/2006 17:17

WonderCod · 06/12/2006 17:17

OP posts:
bundle · 06/12/2006 17:19

and wot was all that flogging off "antiques" about??? surely you only do distraction like that if the food's not up to it??

iota · 06/12/2006 17:20

if I had gone out for a nice meal and someone tried to flog antiques to me, I'd never go back to that restaurant

bundle · 06/12/2006 17:22

sulky one not in this picture, I'm afraid

dara · 06/12/2006 17:32

Yes, I would be appalled if a strange woman in six inches of foundation tried to flog me knick-knacks mid-meal.

DumbledoresGirl · 06/12/2006 19:50

OK, I have to ask, having seen the phrase in that link as well as here, what does WAG stand for please?

dara · 06/12/2006 21:54

Wives And Girlfriends (of the England football team members)

lillypad · 06/12/2006 22:24

Is there anychance ladies, that you're all a teensy bit jealous of two bonny (despite the make-up) well maintained and well groomed young women with fabulous figures (obviously not yet acquainted with the joys of childbirth as yet!)?? I agree that most of us mothers hardly have time to swipe a flannel across our faces let alone spend the time doing ourselves up that those two obviously do - that doesn't mean I begrudge the fact that they're attractive!! New to this site and I must say I thought it might be nice girly fun, but it seems to be a bit of a bitch-fest! Just sounds like the green-eyed monster talking to me!

SnafuOutOfHiding · 06/12/2006 22:25

'Nice girly fun'.

Mwahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

DonnerDasherDancerDior · 06/12/2006 22:27

I thought they were fairly attractive actually. Dh said, 'Neither of the daughters got their mother's looks' - I was expecting him to lust after them

Lilly - a bitch fest? Maybe, but most of the time we're fab. Try it, you'll get hooked!

lillypad · 06/12/2006 22:27

Love that! Reminds me of the count off sesame street - von! Mwahaahaaaa! TWO! mwaahaaahaaa!

edam · 06/12/2006 22:35

Hilarious show esp. the mother running round Asda at 5 o'clock to buy ingredients. Madder than a very maniacal mad hatter. How can anyone open a business with so little understanding of what it involves?

My chef friend says Gordon is fab and known for getting the most out of people, training them up and letting them fly. I think it's a smart business move, instead of his talent leaving to open their own businesses they stay with him and expand GR inc. I'm not arguing. Having eaten his food (just the once) I can say he is a God in the kitchen.

MrsGordonRamsay · 06/12/2006 22:43

Ahem........ it is RAMSAY...........

And message for Noddyholder, back off he is mine, all mine. Mwah Mwah.

Tommy · 06/12/2006 22:43

another one who thinks that GR doesn't need to say fk all the time but, he certainly knows what he's talking about

DonnerDasherDancerDior · 06/12/2006 22:45

I must admit that he gets on my nerves when every other word is 'fuck', but I would still

MrsGordonRamsay · 06/12/2006 22:45

I will have a word.
