Why is Max's house being repossessed?

What is the trial about?

Why is Jane being weird?

Because he is up to his eyes in debt

Max has been charged with Lucy's murder but he didn't do it

Jane is covering for Bobby having killed Lucy and feeling guilty

Does anyone else know / suspect that Max didn't do it?

Why does Sharon not want Jane to tell the truth?

Iain, cindy, Liam, Phil and Sharon all know max didn't do it.

Jane is keeping quiet to protect Bobby but has almost reported it to the police. What I am not sure of is if she is going to tell the truth and say it was Bobby or tell the police it was her.

If the full truth comes out surely Jane, Ian etc would all go to prison or certainly be charged with perverting the course of justice?

Jane wants to tell the police it was her to keep Bobby out of it.
