I'd agree with that. OK, we get that he has problems. But presumably he must be affectionate with her sometimes? Or why did she agree to marry him in the first place? (And how did baby James get here?!)

But we never see any of that, so their whole relationship appears quite unbelievable, TBH.

I think as each series progressed, the writers have made Martin more repressed and unhappy,so it does now seem odd that he and Louise ever had a relationship. But he seems to be trying hard now, so fingers crossed! Please give us a happy ending, don't leave an unsatisfactory cliffhanger for another series that may never happen!

Dh and I were hoping that the policeman would taser himself :o

I'd put money on him doing that next week LeChien!

in fact this series is far better than the last series.

Tuesday's was the best so far,i hope they keep the doc junior on board.
I was worried that Caroline Catz was looking rather bored at playing Louisa,again - but didn't realise that she was acting ,she can convey so much with a flitter of her fake ? eyelashes .

Yep I'm watching and I love it it's easy watching

I've been unwell recently and a vast amount of my time has been spent watching the old series on Amazon Prime. I'm up to series 3...

I really like Doc Martin too. Watched an old episode yesterday that I hadn't seen before, thought I'd seen them all, anyway, the one where Albert Large and his Son find the birth certificate, the Sons, he doubted he was his birth Father but Albert's name was on the birth certificate, even thought they still didn't know he was 100%, he was his Dad and that's all that mattered.

Love the scenery and Louisa has some lovely clothes.

I also hope there's a happy ending, I feel so sorry for the Dr and Louisa, I could have cried with some of the episodes, all he needed to do was make a small comment, a smile or a hug and it would've all been sorted and ok.

I am jealous of Louisa's clothes, I can't imagine her slobbing around in track pants and mismatched socks...

oh no never, the Dr is never in casual clothes either, always the suit, well apart from his stripy pyjamas with the button done up.

Well, that was a nice ending, I'm happy with that.

Yay! Happy ending! Silly storyline but loved that last scene.
