Jane the Virgin: Team Michael or Team Rafael?

I was team Michael but we didn't get to see him and Jane together for long. I initially thought they'd paint Rafael as a bad, spoilt rich kid but he's so sweet with Jane and really wants a baby. I don't know how I want this to end!

Actually forget them both, I love Jane's dad!

The ending left me badly wanting a S2 so I guess it did its job!

Not sure how they can spin out the whole Michael V Rafael thing in S2 though - with a baby in the equation, she can't be fretting over boyfriends like some daft teenager.

On a side note, I'd like the priest to leave his vocation for Alba (not a major storyline I know!).

Good to see a show set in the Spanish community in Miami - I've never seen that before.

I can't decide!

I think she will end up with Michael because he knows her 'true self' and stuff. But I don't feel they are giving Raf a chance. Michael has known Jane for way longer so obviously he will know more about her. Also, I find Michael a little creepy at times. How he's just always waiting on the sideline for Jane instead of just getting out and living life...perhaps finding someone other than Jane to like? And how he is super nice just comes across a bit creepy too because he's her ex-boyfriend! He should leave her alone and I think all the nice gestures are manipulative so she will get back with him. The niceness and 'good guy' facade comes off as fake too. Also, Michael can be really restricting at times...like he knows what's best for Jane all the time, which is irritating.

Rafael is so sweet and willing to change for Jane and I can see them being the cutest family unit. He's not creepily obsessed with Jane so I think they could have a healthier relationship. He waited for Jane when she was looking after Mateo and couldn't think about relationship stuff then but he did admit he wouldn't wait forever and if there was no hope they would talk about custody. Tbh, I liked that about him. He wasn't creepily waiting for her til he died but being realistic and still saying he did want to be with her.

And they have really cute moments like Jane and Michael too. For example, I think it was on one of their first dates at Raf's house or something and they just sat and talked and laughed for ages! If he had less pressure from his job, they could really work this time! I want more Jane and Rafael scenes!

I think Jane will probably end up with Michael because we can see that's who she really prefers but I'm team Raf all the way.

Sorry that was such a long answer but just watched several episodes in a row and am pretty invested now.

The baby is sooooo cute !
