Hey mrs jayy yes it is but I did feel the less glamorous parts of disability were missed out Grin everyone was well groomed and tempers were lost in a fairly pleasant manner. maybe it's just me

Noeuf

I agree re the glamourous parts of disability were missed out but... to get to their target market eg teenagers and children I thought it was done really well.

MrsJayy yes worth watching.

Mrsjayy · 23/07/2015 16:48

Well groomed HA Grin i will watch it later on meant to last night but fell asleep

SouthWestmom · 23/07/2015 18:08

Oh was that the target market? Didn't pick that up. In that case then yes I can see it working.

Mrsjayy I definitely think it was worth watching. It was like last year's Murdered By My Boyfriend in that it was based on a true story and didn't try to show everything in black and white. I thought Adam Long was brilliant although I know they wanted to use disabled actors as much as possible for those roles.

SuperFlyHigh · 24/07/2015 11:38

waiting I agree that I thought it was like 'Murdered by my Boyfriend' and based on a true story and not shown all in black and white.

This is my worry when BBC3 comes off air and goes online - that people who wouldn't watch these sorts of programmes online will miss out...

christmasisnearlyhere1 · 18/08/2015 23:31

its on tv now,watching now

christmasisnearlyhere1 · 18/08/2015 23:37

well worth watching, emotional and thought provoking

some very good points made by the BF

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 18/08/2015 23:38

Oh my god I've just watched this. So moving. Shame the poor little thing inherited her dads eye condition. They looked like great parents though, if it's based on them in real life, and I hope they're ok.

christmasisnearlyhere1 · 18/08/2015 23:40

yeah very sad she inherited

their bloody parents were useless, the couple have probably shown more love and care to Daniel in a few short months than their parents ever showed them

beavington · 18/08/2015 23:58

Thought the bit where the dad walked out while the mum was stuck on the floor and baby was balling was ridiculously sad. Obviously they were all ok but she must have felt so helpless. It was well acted.

IamtheDevilsAvocado · 19/08/2015 11:47

Came across it by accident. Brilliantly acted, and thought provoking.
