But I thought that he had the French Open in the bag and it wasn't to be. Hmm, so Federer to win against Murray, and I hope to win the title.

Majestic- he hates baths, and since his surgery, has been a bugger to groom. He has also taken a dislike to his collar and lead. All in all, I feel a bit sorry for the groomer. Fortunately, she is the woman who did his puppy training- so hopefully she will be able to handle him

I'm hoping for a Federer win now. If Murray gets to the final, the Beeb will go into overdrive, and they will probably repeat that bloody documentary from 2013

Stan proved Novak is beatable. And don't tell me if he gets to the Final he wont have a little headfuck going on.

Girls for me, would prefer neither Serena or Shrieky, not fussed with the other 2.

I think the final at Wimbledon is a different beast, though, MrsV- he's won it before, he's the defending champion. It will be a repeat of last year's final , so I son't think the demons will be there, that obviously plague him at RG.

A reason not to want Gasquet to win, is he pushes Rafa out of the top 10 then. That'll give the haterz something to chew on

Now, I was hoping for a repeat of the French Open final with Djoko v. Stan but it wasn't to be and I would have been rooting for Stan. Obviously he couldn't perform at his best without those shorts.

Hmmm, Raahh. You could be right. That means I need to change allegiance for the semi, remain the same for Final.

I wouldn't count Roger or Andy out of winning to be honest.

Roger especially has played exceptionally throughout the tournament thus far.

Oh no Raah that's not good....(the Rafa thing ). It also bodes badly for Davis Cup semi final next week....the frenchies are in good form. Mind you so are Murray and Ward and Jamie still going in men's doubles....

Was going to look for a Rafa pic to cheer some of us up but curiously couldn't find one I liked....whereas I really liked that Stan pic that Maryz uploaded earlier.

DS wanted to know why we all liked Stan so much and couldn't really answer....

I am hopeful that Rafa will have a better second half of the year- no pressure, nothing to lose. But he needs to up his ranking a bit, to avoid the early scares.

Glad I've cheered some of you up...off to bed now..starting to get a bit that Wimbledon will be over in a few days.....

On the bright side I've got tickets for the ATP tour finals on the Saturday evening so will be looking forward to that next although not until November!

Somehow don't think Rafa will make it to O2 again this year....guess he might be a reserve (in case of injuries) but not sure if he would turn up for that....however Stan bound to be there..... I definitely am going now...good night!

Agree with magi - was very cross that Gasquet won because I reckoned Stan had the best chance of beating Djok. I have a horrible feeling Djok will trample all over Gasquet

Agree with you all - I really wanted Stan to win as I think that Djokovic has a free pass to the final now (sorry Gasquet!) And I don't like Djokovic

Probably prefer Radwanska to win the other, but only because I know nothing of Muguruza.

Cath it's a tough choice.

at least there is the possibility neither will win the tournament. I think Shrieky is more vulnerable, so for me, I would like her to beat Serena, and then lose to Radwanska in the final. Or Muguruza, not fussed. I think if Serena wins today, it might be her year.

So long as the champion isn't Serena or Maria, I'm happy.
