Well, 2 sets all.

Back tomorrow!

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 06/07/2015 21:03

I think the overnight break is going to favour Djok.

Raahh · 06/07/2015 21:05

Hearts- I think Saturday was different, because they didn't want anything hanging over to today.

And I suppose their sets have been quite quick, so it will fit in fairly easily. I'm guessing the weather report is good.

YonicScrewdriver · 06/07/2015 21:07

Hearts, as far as possible they don't move matches half way through. They don't even open the roof if a match started with it closed. I guess for Monfils:Simon the winner needed to play Monday so would've been finishing his match then going on to another later that day, a bit unfair. Djokivic; Anderson have just one more set tomorrow then the winner will play on wed so more time to rest.

YonicScrewdriver · 06/07/2015 21:08

Ha!!! You lie Claire!!

cathcustard · 06/07/2015 21:15

The BBC are still thinking there's only one player in this tournament, the Scottish one.
It's utterly ridiculous.

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 06/07/2015 21:16

Ah thanks Raahh and Yonic, that makes sense.

I did know that about the roof somehow!

MrsVamos · 06/07/2015 21:27

Booooooooooooooo for no late night tennis.

Yay for KANderson who will hopefully regroup and come out blazing in the final set like he did for the first 2 today.

Happy Birthday to MrHearts Smile

Ladies Quarters tomorrow.

Go Vicky !

Yay for Anderson - am sure he will come out fighting tomorrow.

And well done Murray (but I do loathe the biased vommentators)

DramaAlpaca · 06/07/2015 22:54

That was a tricky match for Murray to come through, but I'm glad he did.

I'm sure Anderson will be glad of a break overnight. Hope he can pull it off tomorrow.

HenriettaTurkey · 07/07/2015 08:27

Morning all! What's everyone looking forward to today?

I'm excited by Serena v Vicky (go Vicky!) and Aggy v Madison (go Aggy!)

magimedi · 07/07/2015 09:26

Not so interested in the womens' game, so will watch a bit but might actually get some of the stuff that has been put off for days done!

MajesticWhine · 07/07/2015 09:40

I am not particularly excited by the women's line up, but I will watch it and hope to be inspired. I reckon I will definitely watch Serena v Vicky.

HenriettaTurkey · 07/07/2015 09:51

Yeah, I definitely find the men's game more interesting but those match ups could be interesting: there're a few decent players in the women's circuit now, which is great.

BagelwithButter · 07/07/2015 12:25

Morning, caught up late last night with all the shenanigans. Couldn't quite believe Anderson took first 2 sets!

Hoping Azarenka might win against Serena,

Raahh did you say you had Virgin? I can get red button tennis on channels 990 - 995 without going through red button palaver. Have a look ...

Raahh · 07/07/2015 12:32

Thanks bagel! I knew they must be somewhere, I've just never found them.

like the year I missed a week of the Aussie open because I didn't know I had a sky channel Blush

I have just got soaked through picking dd2 up from nursery- I swear it waited. The sun is, nearly, coming out now.

Don't care much about the women, but will watch anyway.Grin

Raahh · 07/07/2015 12:33

And I predict a tie break in the Anderson/djok set, with Djok edging it.

But I am usually wrongGrin .

KatieScarlettreregged · 07/07/2015 12:37

Just waiting for it to start. Last night was the match of the tournament Fi me, so far.
I totally didn't take a week off work to binge watch the tennis, no sir

LeBearPolar · 07/07/2015 12:40

Raahh - no tie-break in the fifth set! They just have to slug it out until one of them wins. Don't you remember Isner/Mahut?? The final set went to 70/68 to Isner.

Raahh · 07/07/2015 12:43

oh yes, le - I forgot! no tie break.

Grin
LeBearPolar · 07/07/2015 12:45

I am now keenly looking forward to a 70/68 scoreline for Djok/Anderson. Will be disappointed if Djok just sweeps him aside in the style of the third set.

Raahh · 07/07/2015 12:50

I must say, Sue Barker looks younger than Tracy Austin, despite being about 6/7 years older. Tracy irritates me.

Raahh · 07/07/2015 12:54

le- its hard to call really, if they come out like the first 2 sets, it could go on for ages.

But if Djokovic breaks early, I think he will take it.

Very interesting- all boils down to one set.

Raahh · 07/07/2015 12:59

Sue is so desperate to big up the Brits, that she can't even remember how many Frenchmen are left in the draw.Hmm

Gasquet, Sue. The man who beat the tantrumming child you like so much.

Raahh · 07/07/2015 13:03

so, will they show Djokovic, or Shrieky?
