Why is Paul Kaye suddenly all over my TV again.

I've been watching catch up and the last 3 programmes have all starred Paul Kaye:
Mr Norrell and Jonathan Strange - wild eyed prophet.
The Interceptor - wild eyed killer.
Suntrap - wild eyed, Spanish Freddy Mercury tribute act.

He seems to be what programme makers are looking for.

Apparently he is also going to be in Dr Who soon.

I have a disturbing tendency to lust over him inappropriately

He was great as Vince in Mongrels.

Love him and think he is lush in Norrell & Strange

I always remember his run-ins with Kevin Costner as Pennis.

No complaints from me, I love him.

Maybe he has school fees to pay or summat.

He has a touch of the 'Rik Mayal' sexiness . A bit dangerous, not classically attractive but very sexy.

Does anyone remember Perfect World? It was so funny but never been repeated

I was distraught when his character died in 2000 Acres. I didn't even continue watching it after he'd gone.

I suspect he's tricky to cast, but he's always very watchable in the right role.

Funnily enough before I saw this I just send DH a message asking 'is that gobshite [Paul Kaye] never off the telly?'. I actually love him but he does seem everywhere at the moment!!

Who is he in Humans? I've only watched the first one so maybe he hasn't turned up yet?

He was in the second one playing a crazy guy who deals in illegal robot modifications. Oh and they showed his photo in lasts nights too.

I quite fancy him in Jonathan Strange.

He was in Ripper Street too.....playing a wild eyed cult leader.

I groan when I see him pop up in things, and it's not a groan of pleasure. His agent must have the monopoly on Wild Eyed Crazies casting slots.

I don't remember him in Ripper St. When it was on the Beeb, or the Amazon one? I haven't caught up with the Amazon ones yet.

If it was the Beeb one, I would have been too busy ogling Matthew Macfadyen and your man the 'surgeon'.

I loved him in Lillyhammer. The Millwall Brick scene was brilliantly disturbing.

Perfect World was brilliant, but might be a bit 80s/Yuppie for todays taste (it was 1990 according to Google)
