It was typical BBC3 fodder, loved the stroppy brides and farcical weddings but think BBC1 will kill it.
Secondly, why does that lovely girl want to marry this idiot??

Presumably because you get £14k for free! She had something severely wrong with her pelvis since having her second baby but said she was due a major op soon.

Damn missed it. I love DTTB, despite having zero interest in weddings

I caught the tale end of this and watched and thought the groom seemed like a total cunt and it seemed that the wedding was all about him and what he thought was important. When I found out that he was her carer i found it quite difficult to believe actually. Why would the carer/fiance of someone who cannot walk without aid organise an ibiza style wedding?

All very bizarre.

I have never watched this program before. Are they all kind of set up to fail?

I do not feel sorry for anyone on reality tele they know what they are getting themselves into in their desperation to be on telly.

of course they are, or they wouldn't get screen time. when was the last time you saw reality tele where the people were happy, smiling about the situation they were put in?

Just watched the last half of Rosie and Dave

Her sister seemed really hard work, "my day" ...?

And I loved how she wanted a lace dress and got a plain ish one that she loved!! Hmmm

Oh, was that the chap who went by helicopter to live on Lundy for 8 days? Bit of a knobber, him.

MitzyLeFrouf · 25/06/2015 20:08

I switched it off in protest at its new soft and soppy tone.

I hope some kind of sad back story doesn't become a prerequisite a la the DIY thing, it's horribly exploitative or more horribly exploitative.
