These little fellas are so wooden. They're like Duracell bunnies that get charged up to read the autocue. What is their appeal? It's beyond me.

No idea. I'm with you.

I think they are funny together in an old fashioned comedian/Saturday night type of way.

hamstermunker · 13/11/2006 22:15

I love 'em.

Heathcliffscathy · 13/11/2006 22:19

they are just on the right side of bitchy. that's the appeal

puffling · 13/11/2006 22:20

But why do you hamstermunker? What's funny, interesting, original about them?
I also see the saturday night thing, but they obviously don't have material of their own and they seem pretty humourless to me.

I think they're funny
boys next door
saying what the rest of us are thinking
don't take themselves seriously
don't really take ths "celebrity" thing too seriously either

controlfreaky2 · 13/11/2006 22:57

can understand their appeal... cheeky chappies / naughty schoolboy vibe..... but they have zero zilch sex appeal imo. for women who like them asexual

Tortington · 13/11/2006 23:01

agree - no sex appeal but damn good and very funny banter - they play off each other beautifully

Skribble · 13/11/2006 23:03

Morcambe and wise
Reeves and Mortimer

no sex appeal just funny banter and just the right amount of slapstick.

Skribble · 13/11/2006 23:03

Don't like their presenting as much as their own shows though

hamstermunker · 13/11/2006 23:05

I don't fancy them - I just like their obvious like of each other and their banter.
