I'm in shock about Captain Jack!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Call me naive but I was watching Jonathon Ross last night and discovered John Barrowman is gay I had no idea what a waste.
Another of my fantasy men bites the dust tell me I wasn't the only one!!

Well, maybe not in the tights but more the fact he was in person!Think its the character of Capt Jack I like as much as to look at!

I saw him being interviewed last year some time and he said that he is bi-sexual and has slept with loads of women but fell in love with his partner. Mind you he could have just been saying that so as not to alienate his female fan base.

Ok so I come on here (braving extreme inconvenience of lots of missing keys/DS2 been at laptop and we are using laptop due to main PC already being broken..sigh..) to share my shock of having seen Captain Jack full-on snogging his namesake and then Yento (or whatever he's called). I had been ignoring the signs you see... after all he DID snog Rose once didn't he? (Doctor Who)..and they definitely played up the chemistry between him and Gwen in first few episodes (didn't they? Or is my denial worse than I feared...?)...

So anyway, yes, here I arrive on this thread, only to discover that John Barrowman is as gay as a Care Bear's picnic.... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I don't care that it shouldn't matter what his or his alter ego's sexual preferences are.. after all I am but a viewer, but it does ok?? (In similar fashion to when George Michael was involved in the Toilet Incident and had to 'come out' forcing me to take my head out of the sand.. it just matters.. it does!)

So. It's taken me a whole 15 mins to type this, sans necessary keys.. so please, someone who understands (my 'Torchwood grief' not my keyboard issue), respond.

There has been hints in Torchwood about Ianto for a while too.Owen says something in 'Capt Jack Harkness' about Ianto "not knowing JAck you're only his bit on the side"

He stayed late with Ianto one night as well... it's very sad that such a gorgeous man is gay. Sob. Although there can't be that many men who make a career out of musicals who are entirely strangers to Dorothy.

Agree, what a waste, except for his partner who I wish well in a slightly bitter way..

Vanessa does have the body of a 12 year old boy, it has worried me too. I know JD would really like some cornfed voluptuousness to keep him warm at night really

And he hugs young girls a lot when he meets them, I think I 'm going off him a tad, and after I had his image tattooed across my back too

Well I hadn't noticed he was Jesus until the Torchwood finale tonight . Honestly, Owen/Judas sells him out, he dies to save the world, comes back some days later then gets whisked off to heaven in a tardis as compensation.
But re gaydar - the Barrowman's a West End musical song & dance man, that should be your first clue! (Of course Hugh Jackman and Nigel Harman had to work very hard to convince me of their heterosexuality. A tiring evening indeed.)
