A question for any long term Sopranos AND 24 watchers..

This has been driving me mad for ages, so I thought I would see if anyone on here knows. Was Edgar (the large chap who got gased to death) on 24 also on The Sopranos, or does he just look like he should have been?! BTW, the reason I said long term Soprano watchers is just that I think he might have been in the older ones...
