SPOOKS Fans - The Greater Good is really quite good

DH and I went to see this yesterday and enjoyed it enormously.

I know there is a separate forum for Films but I thought I would post this here because, TBH, it felt to me more like a feature length version of the TV programme and I think anyone who enjoyed the TV programme would like this.

Some of the reviews have been a bit sniffy about it. But I suspect that if you are not familiar with Spooks and just take the film on its own merits and compare it with, say, a Bond or a Mission Impossible or something it might not seem to measure up. However, to other fans I would recommend it. There are a few nice nods towards the fandom which I won't mention in the interest of not revealing spoilers Grin

Oh and Kit Haringtom fans will probably enjoy it

I was a huge fan of Spooks and saw the film last week. I liked it, but I did feel there was something lacking a bit and Kit Harington wasn't great.

I was gutted when Adam got blown up but thrilled when Tom popped up in season 10.

I enjoyed it, it rollicked along with twists and turns and love,y shots of London - a 2 hour long episode basically.

All 10 seasons are on Netflix. I've jumped in at season 5 because Ros is my favouritist Spooks character ever though I'd bang Lucas like a screen door in a hurricane.

I enjoyed it, even though I sussed out the baddie in the first 15 minutes. The film is all about Harry really and Tom Holloway (Kit Harrington) is really just used to run around on Harry's behalf. The plot was quite creaky, but weren't all of them? That was why I loved the series in the first place.

I really liked it. Lots of Harry Pearce, which is always a good thing.

DH is convinced Ros can't be dead too. I think he's a little bit in love.
