that no one wants to sit next to justin?

OP posts:
booge · 10/11/2006 17:20

I also have a bit of a thing about Big Cook, I think Richard Herring might have put his finger on it. I'd definately sit next to Justin.

I met Sid at Glastonbury festival, I didn't see him put anything up his nose but he did stay up and party with us all night.

LittleSarah · 10/11/2006 18:10

I know... the recipes are terrible!

lissiew · 10/11/2006 18:19

at least it makes me feel a bit better about heating a tin of macaroni & cheese.... Again!

tegan · 10/11/2006 19:17

Has eva had her baby yet?
I would love to sit next to Justin (in a king size bed preferably)

SoMuchToBits · 10/11/2006 19:24

What's wrong with olives? They are ds's favourite thing to eat!

lissiew · 10/11/2006 19:30

dunno, shes been preg for about 3 years now

FatThighs · 11/11/2006 19:31

lol- that big cook little cook link is spot on!

hate justin, love sid and chris seems to take his job so seriously that you wouldn't have fun anyway.

HaggisSupper · 16/11/2006 00:50

lol at the Richard Herring link! Dh and I have said said the same things before.

You've got to wonder how Big Cook and Little Cook make a profit by only serving one customer a day. Or how the said customer doesn't get pissed off waiting on their order because Big Cook is waiting on the ice cubes freezing to make a slush puppy for them (bet that fills a hole!)

Incidentally, I always wondered why Big cook had a normal name too until i realised he was Big Ben. I really need to get out more

By the way, I would sit beside Chris Doodle Doo, Paul TikkaBilla and Pete Boogie Beebies

MammyM · 17/11/2006 21:21

Do you think they sing 'it's lunchtime, lunchtime, it tastes so good'? My seat would be right between Sid and Chris from doodle do, popular place to sit by the sounds of it!

sockmonkey · 18/11/2006 09:50

:: imagines massive stack of ladies sat next to chris from doodle doo, with me at the top ::

Do you reckon they would make their own decorations? lots of decorated toilet rolls held together with wool, cotton woll snowballs etc?

DimpledThighs · 18/11/2006 18:39

do you think the cbeebies and other childrens presesnters realise they are thought about in adult ways be hundreds of us?

MammyM · 18/11/2006 20:41

'lunch, munch, munch, munch, munch' heheheheh, sorry I've been singing the bloody song all day. If you were a cbeebies presenter would you wonder what the adults thought of you? I would! Bet their mates take the piss something rotten! In fact, if I were a cbeebies presenter I'd watch these threads and maybe post on them........

gmummy · 18/11/2006 22:54

Is it just me or does anybody else sing along with the "now it's time to say goodnight" song with unseemly gusto?

BEDTIME - AHHHH.......

Oh, and I'd definitely do what Sid says!

MammyM · 19/11/2006 11:35

I not only sing along to it, I re-sing to the children when they're in bed and if I'm feeling particularly tuneful I sing the old one, you know, 'have you brushed your teeth? (brush brush), have you washed your face? (wash wash)'!

DimpledThighs · 19/11/2006 20:31

I find the 'let's all do what sid says' thing strangely entrancing - even though a previous poster does not like him he is the bad boy of teh bunch. I bet Chris hates him!

gmummy · 19/11/2006 21:58

While we're on the subject of singing along, does anybody know what the second line of the Balamory theme song when it gets to the bit about Archie? My DH thinks it goes: He's ever so clever and ever so pervy"!
Maybe Archie would sit next to Justin - I'm just saying, pink jumper, kilt - he'd be on a promise after a few cocktails.

sockmonkey · 20/11/2006 08:06

I think it goes "he's ever so clever and ever so arty"
I reckon after a bit too much christmas spirit Archie & PC Plum would have a big punch up over who gets Miss Hoolie. There is so much tension there!

gmummy - leave Archie alone! He's mine, all mine! I've harboured a not so secret crush on him for a couple of years now and I absolutely refuse to believe he's anything other than 100% into women!!

p.s. We have similar names

booge · 20/11/2006 17:13

As DS is only just old enough to have started watching it is a whole new world to me and I now want to revise my seat and sit between Big Cook and Chris from Doodle Do and oppisite Justin as I'm sure he'd be dead nice to talk too if a bit scary.

poshgirlformerlymaggiesmama · 20/11/2006 17:23

i'm thinking that, as the op, ive got dibs on sid. just so you know.

gmummy · 21/11/2006 00:05

ginmummy - nice name but 'fraid the G doesn't stand for gin, I'm a vodka girl

You can definitely have Archie if PC Plum hasn't already - you never know, maybe he's just so comfortable in his masculinity that he feels able to wear pink but I would get a backup crushee just in case. Have you considered Pete from Boogie Beebies? He's got a lot of stamina and you can't go wrong with a bloke who can dance a bit.

One other thought - if I sat next to Justin, do you think he would start teaching me rude words in sign language when he gets drunk?

ginmummy · 21/11/2006 08:37

Boogie Beebies Pete doesn't wear pants and boy can he swing!

I only have eyes for Archie, aka Miles Jupp. Sexy, sexy man with a foppish smile and a sexy bottom lip. Mmmmmm!

housemum · 21/11/2006 09:31

My money's on Edie & Miss Hoolie ending up together (come up and see me sometime...) - they're just tooo close if you get my drift.

Agree Granny Murray will try to pull anything with a pulse - that's why she always has those flaming scarves - hiding the lovebites.

Josie will be trying to get everyone up and dancing to Agadoo or the Birdie Dance.

The Storymakers will think it's all beneath them and head off to a cool club.

The Smarteenies will be raving (ready, steady, throw some shapes, man...)

Justin will be forever at the bar getting the drinks in as he can sign & it'll be noisy.

Big Cook and Little Cook will - oh hell, who cares, who'd invite them anyway?

housemum · 21/11/2006 09:32

BTW Big Cook and Little Cook are on the link bit before the adverts on Soccer AM - it didn't seem to surprise DD at all when Small was as big as Big. They're not funny there either.
