Anyone watching? I've started watching it on Netflix and am hooked.

Yeah I know what you mean about the post show blues, but in this case it was tinged with relief! Like BlueKarou said, I too felt a definite sense of dread as each episode started. I loved the show, but it put me through the emotional wringer, that's for sure!

susiedaisy · 09/07/2015 12:55

Episode 12 was tough with that many main characters goingShock

Has anyone else read the rumours about a prequel with Brad Pitt playing John Teller?
Shock

BlueKarou · 09/07/2015 14:15

I had not heard that, MrsR. Not sure I would pick Brad as JT.

I know Kurt's busy kicking off The Bastard Executioner at the moment, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was a prequel. There's certainly enough story to be told with the original 9 and all their drama.

MrsTrentReznor · 09/07/2015 14:36

I went back to have another look, I only found one article stating that so hopefully it's BS!
I like BP, but I think you're right. He's not right for JT.
I'd love to see a young Gemma!

susiedaisy · 09/07/2015 15:14

Miss it now though

RobotHamster · 09/07/2015 22:56

susiedaisy · 09/07/2015 22:57

Yes that song was quite haunting. I'm still reeling from it all. Poor Abel and Thomas I hope Wendy doesn't relapse. I'm glad she has Nero to lean on. I'm glad Gemma got her come uppence she caused so much pain and heartache

I watched Les Revenants after SoA Grin

BlueKarou · 10/07/2015 10:46

As I said earlier in the thread; I ran to Once Upon A Time after Sons. It's simple and fun and doesn't leave you all broken and sad.

I think you have to move on quickly; otherwise you dwell for too long in that beautiful song, and that almost endless police chase.

Binkleflip · 10/07/2015 10:52

Vikings will help ease the pain Grin

MrsTrentReznor · 10/07/2015 10:54

Mmmmmm.... Travis Fimmel... Grin
He can pillage my village any time. Blush
Vikings definitely eases the pain!

HarlettOScara · 10/07/2015 11:02

I did The Shield after SOA. Just enough Kurt Sutter input, South American cartels and familiar faces to fill the SoA shaped hole in my life. Plus it's a blinder of a show in its own right.

susiedaisy · 10/07/2015 12:56

Vikings sounds like my thing. Smile Is it on any channels or on demand ???

OP posts:
Binkleflip · 10/07/2015 14:47

I watched Vikings free on Amazon Prime (boo!), only reason I have that is because I was soo addicted to SOA I had to know what happened next so paid the prime fee!!
