Did anyone else see this? I enjoyed it, don't know yet what is going on which is good imo. It was all a bit sudden to become a safe house though

So what was the thing with Mark & Katy?

Was he obsessed & that's why he had a file on her, or was it an actual police file?

The Mark and Katy thing was left unexplained but it looks like they grew up together?! Obviously left open for another series. It was full of holes but I enjoyed it. If I was at risk from a murderer I certainly wouldn't put my safety in the hands of Robert and Katy!!

Pagwatch - I;m glad it wasn't just me shouting at the telly about CE parking so far from the boy, and going on foot. Also when Michael bundles Joe into the car three of them - Mark, Sam and Robert start following the car on foot - someone get in a car and drive FGS !!! I did enjoy it though

and the car changed from a nice one back to the old Volvo after he'd dropped the family off. Did I miss that explanation?

yes I enjoyed it too, I love CE, but annoyed me that it was left so unexplained. I think Katie and Mark are brother and sister......

I think the different cars was them switching from showing Robert to Mark and back. Not sure

I loved it, despite the ending and the shooting an unarmed man etc. Thought it had a brilliant cast and was well acted.

Was it left a bit ambiguous for a 2nd series?

So is Mark on the run?

Would it have been a safe house if not for the guy putting up pics of the sailing?

Am sure a second series is in the offing - its a great idea for something that can keep running - different family in the safe house each time.

I liked it but it could have been much better, hopefully the second series with have a stronger plot.

I worked out fairly close to the begining that Michael was Joe's biological father, and as soon as the sister was introduced/killed off I guessed that she was his bio mother and lied about the dead bf being the father and gave the baby to Ali to raise.

I also guessed that Mark was obsessed with Katy and had arranged the shooting, although I didn't work out it was because he was having an affair with the witness, I thought it was because he wanted Katy and thought if he got Robert out of the way he could have her for himself, and that also shooting the witness would be a good way to cover up his involvement and pin it on someone else.

YY this^ is exactly what I thought as well.
I also think that Mark & Katy must have grown up together (maybe adopted brother & sister with a troubled up-bringing??) Any way it is nicely set up for series 2 & I'd watch CE do anything & bring me breakfast in bed if he likes (swoon )

diddl I knew Michael was Joe's father. Guessed it when he killed Gemma. I think Mark is now on the run & he & Katy are brother & Sister. He's obviously 'done her wrong' in the past. Setting us up nicely for series 2.
