god knows, i have virgin i dont think its on demand on there, what a cracking episode though!!!....was literally on the edge of my seat!.

It was excellent! I am proper spooked by it. DP got fed up of me screeching and went to bed. DS found that highly amusing and took great delight in sneaking up on me in the kitchen. He frightened the bejesus out of me .

you need to get some spooky revenge,maybe even draw it out a day or 2...muhaha...*evil ....the medium bit was like what am i seeing!

After watching the past episode, DH hid in the wardrobe, waited til I got into bed, then jumped out with a raa. Never been so scared in my life [shock Probably should post this on aibu.

dh knew a journalist who went in there (we lived quite locally) The journo reckoned it was true but was so shxx scared he didn't want to write about it.

I watched it. It was scary in parts but didn't keep me awake at night, unlike Remember Me which scared the crap out of me.

thought the ending was shit although the programme afterwards was interesting

I was disappointed with the ending. At first it felt like it was very true to life and that they were sticking with 'real' alleged events focused around the family and the poltergeist activity. But at the end they turned it into something else when it became all about Mr Whatsit and his dead daughter and the rather predictable "I'm fine Daddy, I forgive you, I've got to goooooooo nowww".

I'm not sure about the loony bin and ECT stuff either as I'm not convinced that happened but I recorded the programme so I missed the documentary thing afterwards. I suppose I'm going to have to give in and get the book on my Kindle. Have you seen the prices on Amazon? People are asking about £80 for a paperback!

I've just had a quick google and found an interview where Janet says " ‘It was hard, I had a short spell in the Maudsley Psychiatric Hospital in London, where they stuck electrodes on my head, but the tests proved normal." so it sounds as if she was only there for investigation rather than being drugged and electrocuted. Hope so anyway, poor kid!

So the haunting was really about the dad?

I think it was the result of the dad leaving and the trauma on the family.
