Yeah we went for brother and sister but why that should be a big secret I don't know. Foster sister?

It was weird the way the family being protected just dropped out of the story before it ended.

I am thinking they may have been foster brother and sister. It seemed Mark had expected them to have a romantic relationship had Robert not come and 'stolen' katy away. Unless it was an incestuous relationship. Seems theres a lot mark feels like he rescued Katy from too. I think they squeezed too much into the last episode.

Not just me that's baffled then.

Does this mean there may be a 2nd series?

That was one of the worst endings to a TV show I've seen in a long time

Just checked on here to see exactly what Mark & Katy's connection was when they were younger, why Christopher Ecclestone didn't know about it & why Mark had a file on her.

(Also wanted to see whether anyone else was querying the Vauxhall Safire C E took family home in changed back to usual Volvo without C E appearing to go home in the interim

Can't find any reviews either or anything that would shed any light on what on earth they were getting at! We watched it twice but still no wiser, apparently there will be a follow up but cba. And hated the house, everything was so dreary it was all really depressing.

I'm glad it's not just me that's confused then! I settled down thinking we were in for an exciting ending with all the loose ends tied up and then thought I must have missed that there was another episode to come as it didn't seem to end at all. They're obviously hoping for another series but I'm not sure they'll have me watching it.

The ending was as bad as the ending of 'Missing'.

I thought the house itself was awful. Dull, dark and dreary.
