I really miss House on a Thursday night. What TV programme are you missing at the moment?

I miss that cutting humour in House. Nothing much else on TV is making me laugh at the moment (though I did smirk a bit at the Jack Dee thing).

ER, Greenwing...

I saw the ER spoiler thread here and I was so tempted to look, what about Abby?? And the baby??? AHHHH. But I shall wait til Jan.

Also have Greenwing 1 on DVD but can't watch it as the remote is broken there ain't nothing doing without it!

Bluebear · 02/11/2006 19:18

I'm missing the medical dramas - ER and the one with DrDreamy in (although it's obviously on some channel that I don't have because i keep seeing posts about it)...and House of course.

There is just nothing worth watching on tv at the moment ( which in some ways is good because our remote control broke this week and we can only watch Cbeebies ) - This week I am mainly wallpaper stripping and cleaning

I continue to mourn Buffy

and am tapping my fingers waiting for my online dvd rental to come up with the goods for series 7 of the West Wing

foxinsocks · 02/11/2006 19:27

oh yes, ER aswell - forgot about that

I also enjoyed Waking the Dead (although Boyd had gone a bit mad last series)

LOST

foxinsocks · 02/11/2006 19:27

ooh calif, I'm very jealous of you being able to watch House. I don't know why they split the season there - seems v silly.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 02/11/2006 19:35

I do have the first four episodes of LOST, but I havent got round to watching them.

foxinsocks · 02/11/2006 19:35

oh bluebear, do you hire yourself out for stripping ? seriously, we have ooh about 16 walls that need doing - and they have woodchip on

I guess if the US has House now, hopefully it won't be too long before we get it back!

West Wing

foxinsocks · 02/11/2006 19:47

West Wing is being reshown on a Sunday night at 8pm on More4 - right from the start - we are up to the bit where he has just admitted (to his aides) that he has MS

another one for buffy and west wing.

tribpot · 02/11/2006 19:51

Grey's Anatomy. I know it's been on UK Living but you don't get that on Freeview, so I'm waiting for it to return to C5 or similar.

Bluebear · 02/11/2006 20:27

FIS - mine is woodchip too (not put up by us I hasten to add), I didn't realise until I did the first wall that the chips come out and fly all over the house
The tv schedulers just don't realise what they've done to me!

MadameButterfly · 02/11/2006 20:40

Those of us without SKY won't get to see the next season of LOST, unless you can download it from the net as my DP has done.

We will wait until he has a few then watch them all together

foxinsocks · 02/11/2006 20:42

oh bluebear, I do feel for you. It is such a thankless task. I've done about 4 walls but the quality of the plaster underneath is so bad, I think I'll have to get them at least skimmed if not replastered anyway. It is such a time consuming task.

Thought I'd miss Ladette To lady, but don't now that I've got Catherine Tate.

House? What's that?
Never watched Lost

foxinsocks · 02/11/2006 21:00

what is House?

Hugh Laurie as an American doctor (Dr House) in charge of a team of 3 doctors who get all the impossible to diagnose cases in a hospital. Basically, every week, they spend the whole episode failing to diagnose what's wrong and then get it right at the end! But the dialogue is brilliant - quick, witty and he (House) is totally irreverent.

motherinferior · 02/11/2006 21:05

House is the programme where Hugh Laurie becomes an improbably compelling sex god.

I miss loads

motherinferior · 02/11/2006 21:07

Six Feet Under is as great a loss as Buffy, I reckon. And I miss Dr Who. And New Tricks as well as Waking the Dead. And Grey's Anatomy.
