Just watched it. I'm a twin so found it very interesting. Can't imagine how strange the situation must be for the two girls. I'm sure they'll get closer as the language barrier reduces over time.

It was on last Tuesday (26th May) so you'll be able to pick it up MrsJay

It was fascinating yet moving all in one, wasn't it.
Very brave of the parents to allow the documentary team into their lives. Incredibly interesting programme and somehow sad and happy all in one. Certainly glad I stumbled across it, then came looking for the thread that I knew MN would have Grin

I've just watched ( I recorded it). It was a fascinating programme, partly because the contrast between the all-American girl, and rural lifestyle seemed so huge.

Mia seems to have more opportunities, but Alexandra as the freedom to go where she wants. I wonder how that will play out when they are older.

It will be interesting to catch up with them when they are teens.

I totally agree with Coumarin - how cruel !!
If the adoptive parents found out that the girls were twins they should have made decision with whom the girls will grow up.
It is heartbreaking to see that the twins growing up A World Apart.
They should be raised in one family either US or Norway.
