Old thread was full up so bit the bullet and started new one, apologies to those who don't like the thread title.

I think some of the tree scribings were done by the terminus peeps when it exploded and they left. Because they said to Bob (whilst chowing down on his leg steaks!) that they marked their way in and out so to not get lost. But it also looked like Morgan could be behind some of them as one clip showed him stroking a tree!
Soooo confused!!! Throw an A and W in there and I'm banging my head against said tree/torso/wall!!!

Surely the terminus and Gabriel's church are 600 miles behind them now?

Oh, and to say that Carol scares me a bit (especially as at one stage DH seemed to have trouble deciding whether I'd be like her or Maggie in a ZA. Thankfully he decided on Maggie)

I have absolutely no theories on the letter A on the trees or on Ricks hand.

So - when it comes to the season finale (which must be soon - boohoo) - do you think it will be...

1. a massive massive group of walkers overrunning Alexandria, or

2. an external group of humans attacking or trying to takeover Alexandria, or

3. the Alexandrians executing a dastardly plan on Rick & Co, that belies their suburban exterior, or

4. conflict within Rick's group - with, say, bat shit crazy Carol, and Sasha doing something dastardly against the Alexandrians, and,a say, Darryl and Michonne defending the Alexandrian community, or

3. They pass their prison vomiting bug onto the alexandrians

5. a nice harmonious community, a strengthening of the walls, continued supply runs - continued flirtation between Rick and the hairdresser and other domestic matters,

Im thinking someone will get killed and there will be some sort of 'tribute' type standoff/battle.

6. or something else?

Sacha's going to have some kind of breakdown.

Possibly kill some of the Alexandrian women in a fit of piss-offness over their quiches and frippery when she's recently lost so much.

7. Rick will wake up in hospital and it will all have been a coma dream?

Oh god, loveareading don't even joke about that! I think my DH's head would explode if something like that happened!

I think both number 1 and 2 will happen.

A group (probably The Wolves) will target Alexandria and in the process the noise will attract a giant herd of walkers. Alexandria will get damaged allowing the herd to get inside.

Someone will probably die or maybe two.

I know people think the Alexandrians are secretly plotting something and Deanna is evil and feeding people and babies to walkers. I just don't think that would ever happen.

It would be too much like Woodbury - a psycho leader and a group of sheltered people. They want to keep the show fresh, it would be recycling an old plot.

who are the Wolves?

And whils we're in guess mode, assuming a major(ish) character dies, who do we think that might be?

I like KingJoffrey's Sasha quiche-rage theory . I think she is probably the most likely to flip out amongst the group. Carol may be a teeny bit psychotic but she is controlled with it.
I think there will be conflict with hairdressers husband which will force Rick into some sort of coup. Or the W-marking group will turn up, but I think that might be next series as they won't want to introduce too many new characters at once.

I think Daryl will die.

Carol won't. They've kept her and reintroduced her and are evolving the character.

We know Glenn's not going.

Daryl's got nowhere else to go as a character. And no one else will cause much of an impact.

who are the Wolves?

When the group went to Noah's community there was a graffiti message on the wall saying "The Wolves are coming" (or something like that)

There were dead walkers there with W carved into their head.

Now they've just found another walker with W carved into his head just outside of Alexandria. So whoever the group are they are probably close by.

I think Daryl will die.

Daryl won't die. He's too much of a fan favourite. Maybe he'll die when TWD is in its final season but definitely not in season 5.

I think Glenn has walker bait written all over him.
