...when they decided not to go; the very idea was clearly insane. Here's to the sensible wife who knows all the many good things about the UK. Sorry, mate, but you have 3 kids, two with medical needs, and your livin' the dream days are behind you until they have left home. Hopefully he has now sorted out his life in the UK by getting a different job - he should have saved enough to do that.

I saw a couple of others where the decision was to give it a go. Don't know if it actually happened, of course.

The ones we've seen are so clueless. If you have that sort of dream or offer you do your homework. Lol at last night with the guy who really wanted to bum around kite surfing but could only make it work by having a pressured desk job , just like at home.

All the blokes seem really immature. Why are these people wanting to move to mega expensive places?

Watched the Tortola one - the guy is clearly having a mid-life crisis! His wife seemed nice and sensible so I hope they will work something out (and that he won't be deciding that, actually, his lifestyle is crippled by having 3 young kids). His mom seemed a really nice woman, I hope I'm that alert when I'm 81!
Also, Tortola looked tiny and boring in the show.

Mauritius: again a mid-life crisis (kite-surfing???), thoughI do sympathize as their life in the UK is a bit bonkers. The guy seems to earn a good salary, so why can't they move somewhere which would make more sense, so he can come home in the evening? Moving to Mauritius seems a bit extreme.

These beach bum dreams are possible at any age, but not with dependent kids and only with plenty of money.

Tortola was a joke. Total midlife crisis. These guys don't wake up with 3 kids- how did they not realise their carefree days were gone
