Anyone else think Kalinda from The Good Wife is absurd?

After a lull of watching I'm back enjoying The Good Wife again and just starting season 4. All Kalinda story lines really put me off! The whole sexy bad ass thing is so overdone it's painful. That hotel scene with Blake in I think the third season made me actually shudder. As did the bizarre one with the FBI lady. I find it so unsexy and just completely awkward.

Oh my god just watched an episode where there is a sex scene juxtaposed with two sizzling American pancakws (ie boobs) What the actual fuck? Love the show but there has yet to be a sex scene that I don't find truly agonising

Wasn't it pretty much the same character same actress on the Fall as well?

I am finding Alicia's sudden intense randiness completely unbelievable. Scenes where she is gagging to boff Peter in the bathroom make me cringe.

The writers didn't do the character well IMO.

Praise be. Its not just me then. I have only just started watching and just finished Season 1 but I IMMEDIATELY found her annoying and ridiculous.

The way every policeman/lawyer/person of importance appears to know and fancy her to the point she could practically walk into Head office at Homeland because she is so 'hot' the security guard forgets himself.

I don't mean played by I just mean that the charavtwrs are so similar.

Maybe she can investigate where the Irish lawyer disappeared to, and Diane's husband too.

Truly absurd- the one weak link in an otherwise fab programme.

She's such a caricature- tough, bad ass, razor sharp brain, swings both ways, sassy, sexy.. Except she's none pf those thjngs! Either she's a poor actress or it's a v weak role piled high with all the stereotypes above. Think she should be written out!

completely the same. She also does this thing where she cocks her head on to one side which appears to intimidate people, like she's some sort of dangerous sparrow.

I want to be Diane when I grow up. But I'd quite like her wit and wardrobe now.

Yes Kinraddie! Also, the pregnant ethics woman from Peter's office. Still, they were all dud characters (apart from Diane's husband actually) so no bad thing the writers forgot them mid storylines.

Tell you who don't I'm missing though- Jacky. Less Kalinda, more Jacky

I like Kalinda, but then I'm a short person who wear skirts and boots, eyeliner and has a dodgy accent so Wtf do I know!
