Blimey! That was really good wasn't it? Julia Davies was wonderful. Repeated 10pm Sunday.

cripes. i hated it.

Really aAlfred? Well I admit I've always thought la Craddock was a fascinating/terrifying character and I thought Julia Davies was spot on - is it the play/production you hated or Fanny's character?

I saw bit of it, and tbh was rather confused

AlfredAitchcock · 23/10/2006 23:04

i just thought 'what was the point of that, then'?

AlfredAitchcock · 23/10/2006 23:06

i suppose that they were saying that Craddock was an 'always-on' person (with the tiny exception of her breaking down with Johnny) but unless we get more insight into her motivation for being so vile then it's a waste of an opportunity. thought Julia Davis' performance a bit panto, but i don't think she was helped by the script. mark gatiss can do no wrong, however.
