DDs think she's on something, I think she's finally cracked.

OP posts:

Dance Masters of America, I think Amelia.

Love your name, btw. I am still sad to think there will be no more books from Ms Peters.

Abby continually puffs herself up, but at heart I think she is a deeply lonely and unhappy woman.

Anonimousy · 25/02/2015 09:26

I think her strange behaviour and unkempt appearance is to do with the lawsuits?

WrappedInABlankie · 25/02/2015 09:55

It's the lawsuits from Paige and kelly, moving to LA, taking far to much on, I don't think she's grieved at all for her mum or that dog she loved and push round in a pram and I also think she losing control and she doesn't like it, she made that comment about she wasn't going to be spoken to like that but anyone. Apparently Abby's mum was a lot worse than Abbey from when she made a comment to Kelly a couple of series ago about when she was taught there and her mother did she always said her teaching was a lot stricter and worse than her

I like Abby, they've said before they have a get out clause it's $50,000 to leave them as well as the yearly fee they pay which I'm
Sure is $50,000 as well.

In some aspects and can understand the annoyance from abbey with the mums. Instead of bitching and moaning that you don't have a solo, duet, she didn't put them on the top of the pyramid, she's not complimenting them then pay the $50,000 and leave they have shit loads of money so could afford it. I think they like being on TV that's why they don't. I never liked kelly or Christi tbh Kelly flounces like no tomorrow then waltzes back in expecting solo's then leaves again when she didn't get her own way and Christi did nothing but bitch.

They do take things out on Maddie though which isn't fair I think she's a wonderful dancer but that's not her fault and she shouldn't be ashamed of that, I've seen her correct Maddie and last episode she was correcting Mckenzie.

What she did with Nia's audition though was mean Sad and Holly's right to be pissed they all agree with her behind Abbys back yet leave her stranded in the firing line when she raises a point about something which they've all agreed on. But that's what they do they're always telling each other or new people who join or are temps to go down into the studio and say something to her knowing it was cause an argument.

I'm far to invested in this Blush haha but I do think if you know what she's like, you could pay the clause and leave or not renew your contract at the tens of the season, if you pay that price knowing what she's like don't bitch and moan about it as you went in with your eyes open, if they really believe she's being abusive to their kids you'd stop sending them as a parent you'd take any law suit coming to make sure your kids where safe and not harmed

Runwayqueen · 25/02/2015 10:00

Holly was right in everything she said last night, absolutely disgusting behaviour from Abby. But she is still dancing with them, although it doesn't look she is off to Ireland with the rest of them this week

Clockingoff · 25/02/2015 11:21

The woman definitely has issues. Screeching and roaring at small children; shouting aggressively at the mothers who are paying her; wheeling a dog around in a pram; and allowing herself to be seen on television like that.

I think she's either been brought up appallingly or is a complete narcissist.

WrappedInABlankie · 25/02/2015 11:41

But then surely the mothers have issues Confused

Paying thousands for that treatment
Continuing to take their kids there know what she'll do day after day (not Maddy)

I mean any one else would pull their kids out of her classes not wait till you nearly get arrested for assault on each other then suddenly see sense.

I think she's a great teacher in terms of the dances they do, just the shouting but she said in a previous series to Kelly something like "you know what it was like here when you brought your kids my mother taught you and I'm softer than she was"

AmeliaPeabody · 25/02/2015 11:51

It is sad, Katie. Pleased you recognised it, I'm always surprised that many people don't seem to have heard of AP.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 25/02/2015 11:53

"She's psycho, she should not be teaching children imo."

I couldn't agree more, Stratter5. She openly stated, in this week's episode (and probably in others too) that she punishes the children for their mothers' (perceived) crimes. I cannot imagine, as a parent, letting any of my children be treated the way she treats those girls. It is abusive treatment, and whilst Abby is responsible for her behaviour, the parents are responsible for keeping their children at the studio. I can only imagine that they do it because of the money from Lifetime, and because they think that the benefits to their children of being on this high profile show will outweigh the negatives of Abby's meanness to their girls!

I think previous posters are right - she has too much on at the moment, and some of her previous actions are coming home to roost.

On a side note - what the actual fuck is going on with Jojo and those appalling bows in her hair? What is her mother thinking? She looks absolutely ridiculous!

AmeliaPeabody · 25/02/2015 11:57

No, Nia doesn't seem to be off to Ireland with them this time, but she's done the previous tours with Maddie and the others hasn't she.

Clockingoff · 25/02/2015 12:06

I agree some of the mothers are appalling as well. Putting their children though that, bitching and backbiting on national television, fighting like teenagers etc.

I often wonder how the fathers feel about it all and whether any of them try to put a stop to the nonsense. These children should be allowed live their lives in privacy, they are far too young for that level of exposure, publicity and notoriety.

Anonimousy · 25/02/2015 12:12

AFAIK Maddie and Mckenzie's father isn't too happy about his girls dancing with ALDC.

I think that Abby is very hard on all the girls, including Maddie.

WrappedInABlankie · 25/02/2015 12:19

I don't get why JoJo is taught all them dances when she's not in the group? Confused

I mean why doesn't Gia just say you're not in the group go home!

She's friends with Melissa and I kind of feel a bit bad for her because she's always going to be in a lose lose situation. Abbys done amazing things for Maddy (sia, Grammys etc) and McKenzie (music video) so the the mums don't like that but who wouldn't take that opportunity if your kids really wanted to dance/sing and the doors were opening!

Holly said they want the same treatment as Maddy but like Abby said people call for Maddy not Kendal or Nia but I remember when she gave Brooke the chance to dance to her own music and to sing on the show and she didn't really care.

I wonder if she's extra tough on them because if they can deal with her, ignore it and still be amazing dancers then people at Hollywood casting calls etc are going to be a breeze, for them to cope with if they get into the professional world?

Runwayqueen · 25/02/2015 19:27

Nia did go on last years tours to oz and the UK, but doesn't seem to have been on any others since. I did read it was because of her grandfathers ill health. But as she hasn't been on any since he sadly passed away I did wonder if holly was doing as christi and Chloe did, still allowing her to perform with the aldc but not allowing her on the tours? Last night Chloe shared a photo on instragram of her Paige and nia

lottieandmias · 11/03/2015 18:00

I can't beieve Abby expected JoJo's mum to let her watch Carrie - I mean how ridiculous.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 11/03/2015 19:14

I have just checked, and the BBFC certified Carrie as a 15 - no way should a child of Jojo's age be watching it!

lottieandmias · 11/03/2015 19:59

On Sky it's an 18. I wouldn't let my 11 year old watch it...

AmeliaPeabody · 02/04/2015 12:49

Shocked at Abby's behaviour this week. Her comments about that poor girl getting her ears pinned back Shock

And Mackenzie, Abby saying the homeschooling obviously not working as Mackenzie forgot part of her dance in rehearsals. It takes a lot for Melissa to speak out against Abby, and I'm glad she did then.
