They'll be wearing stuff for the zombies to pop.

They were advertising for this show in London a few years ago. I'm surprised it's taken so long to air.

Dh said they're not allowed to touch the zombies or they get infected themselves. So no walloping stunt guys in self defence. They just have to scream and die.

I enjoyed this one .. my 15 yr old went upstairs in a strop because it wasn't realistic having a zombie reality show. Missing the point completely

The latest episode, where Jonas was being guided using the headphones straight into the arms of the zombies through the pitch black room to turn the water on, strongly reminded me of watching Knightmare on TV as a child.

Enjoying this greatly, although I am wondering if it's wrong for me and DH to spend much of this show laughing at the contestants and the ridiculous situations the producers are putting them in. But i just can't take the pretend zombies seriously.

And seriously, when they're on 'missions', why are they leaving the main outside door to the food court unlocked and completely unguarded?

I'd be posting a contestant or two by the outside doors to bar them after the others have gone on a mission, and then unbar the doors when they see the contestants heading back. Instead everyone not on the mission seems to be skipping off back to the main room and lowering the steel shutters behind them.

They're just asking for stray zombies to wander into the lobby by leaving them unlocked and unguarded. There's been no mention of a back door, so they could be completely stuffed if that happened. I know it's all made up, but this is one thing that's really bugging me.

Yeah that bugged me as well. I think they do get in at some point though.

I'm irritated they can't defend themselves more than anything.

I can see why they're not allowed to defend themselves - too big a risk that they'd get carried away and injure one of the actors playing zombies - but yes. That makes the whole thing seem much less realistic.

There'd be no way survivors of a real zombie outbreak wouldn't carry weapons, even if it was just makeshift ones.

Hmm, I've been watching it and its ok i guess. I think its pretty fixed though. They need to "kill" survivors or there will be no winner. So they fix it so at least one/some die, otherwise why would we watch?
Like last night with the new girl. She could have caught one of them if she wanted, and I've noticed at least 1 zombie has been within reaching distance of a survivor but not grabbed him/her (can't remember who it was) Then the dark room one last night, that one was never going to be able to be done, there just wasn't a gap for him to get back.

About 25 mins in, zombies have already breached the food hall once after they left the doors unlocked. Zombies gone, they've just waved off another 2 contestants on a mission and.... left the food hall doors wide open, never mind just unlocked, and unguarded.

Idiots.
