The media will only play this so far IMO. There will come a time inevitably where she will go a step too far (she's gone way beyond that IMHO ) however, she will cross a line by saying something very rasict or homophobic and that will be it. She will be dropped like a bomb. Especially if there is an outcry that will effect sales or membership of something. Money talks

I'm not pulling anybody up mrsruffalo, just expressing a different opinion. I understand what you are saying about some of the nasty things she says but I think we tread on dangerous ground when we think it is ok to silence people saying things we don't like

Chipstick probably has it right. KH is making a career at the moment of saying things others dare not say for a particular niche market but will cross a line with the media and get dropped when it suits them. I have likened her to Spitting Image in a previous post and think she is filling the politically incorrect gap that comedy is not doing at the moment for those people who like it

I'm not a particular fan of hers, I'm quite indifferent really, just don't have the hatred some of you do and find the discussion interesting

I've just watched a couple of her post bb interviews and I have to say that I do think she may be a sociopath. Her total lack of insight into her behaviour is astounding. Her reasoning for what she says makes no sense whatsoever.
Her setting herself up as "a tough old bird" is hilarious.
When confronted she does all the faces and moves her head from side to side strangely, this shows her discomfort.

I'm yet to see her interviewed by anyone who has the integrity and articulation to confront her.

Her tearfulness on receiving positive comments speaks volumes as to her deep rooted unhappiness, I'd feel sorry for her if she wasn't so hideous.

She is fascinating isn't she, as a psychological study if nothing else.

I am concerned by so many people being taken in by her 'entertainment value' but it's fairly obvious that she has some deep rooted issues.

I thought this article was a good read on Hopkins, the Katie being honest makes me laugh. There is no way she would be friends with Chloe, Cami-Li or Kav, they all mutually used each other. I find it strange that the people I have met who defend her are the same people that she slaughters with her words.

Cobain, just read that interview, fascinating. She really is a monster with no empathy or human feeling for others. But in that interview, when she talked about her upbringing, it did make sense why she is the way she is.

Shame she can't use her intellect and discipline for good, she'd be a powerful force if she did.

It wouldn't surprise me if she ended up being a Tory or UKIP MP as her views would fit in rather well.

OMG I've just had a horrid thought, KH as the next Prime Minister! She'd make Thatcher seem like a real soft touch in comparison...

That article is interesting yes! She has many things in her life that she shows no sympathy for in others.

KHole really isn't an intellectual.

She fools some people into thinking she is as she is articulate and very assertive aggressive

However she can only see issues through the lens of black and white - Fat = Bad, Slim = Good, Perez = Bad, Alexander = Good, etc, etc.

And she is so belligerent in her delivery that people end up feeling railroaded by her. I think they give up trying to get her to understand there is another way to see something, or that different people have different experiences... and so it seems like KHole almost always wins every debate...

But this isn't due to superior intellect or cleverness. It is just down to sheer bloody mindedness and deliberate ignorance of any ambivalences or ambiguities.

I think KHole is well educated and she's not stupid per se.. but she's definitely not someone to admire for their intellectual rigour or curiosity about the world and how it works.

And as I said above, I don't think it's possible to turn a low or average intelligence into bright via schooling... However you will learn certain vocabulary which can make you sound as if you know something... doesn't necessarily mean you know much at all though, a la KHole.

KH is not clever. She blinds with science. As I've said before let someone whose really intelligent loose on her. Vanessa Feltz anyone !!!!!!!!

I've noticed that she's very repetitive in what she says. She's not a quick thinker at all. She has 'prepared' stock answers and she doesn't seem to be able to deviate from them. My northen, working class, ginger haired brother, who also happens to be Oxford education, would utterly destroy her in an argument without breaking a sweat.

Not sure he would beat her in an argument as she either does not have (or pretends not to have) the ability of reasoning. She does not debate she just stands behind her stance. She is the classic examples of having a good education but lacking in certain areas of intelligence. She mocked ADHD but strangely psychologists would have a field day with her.
