No! they're awful as presenters, I had to turn it off I was cringing! Grin

Nice blokes and brilliant as chefs on the show but never again.

disclaimer: I turned off when the french chef was finishing off his dish so maybe they improved.

awaynboilyurheid · 07/02/2015 12:23

No they did not improve ! gave us a good laugh though , god knows what the producers were shouting, the chef from Edinburgh was good but the older man kept shouting over everybody and when he hit the other chef in the back to make him speak we were in stitches here it was like a comedy, JM's job is safe.

WireCat · 07/02/2015 14:37

I'm just watching it now, it's hilarious. I do like them, but they're not cut out for live presenting!

WireCat · 07/02/2015 14:43

Deleted it from planner. It was too shouty and clunky.

CharleyFarleyy · 07/02/2015 15:31

Anyone is an improvement on JM Wink

StillStayingClassySanDiego · 07/02/2015 16:13

Ah I like James, did you know he likes butter and is from Yorkshire? Wink

CharleyFarleyy · 07/02/2015 16:21

Really? I never knew... he should mention it more Grin

JM irritates the hell out of me, but these guys were even worse if that's possible! I also had to switch off, it was just too cringeworthy.

Behooven · 07/02/2015 16:36

I like JM too. I think today's stramash just goes to show he does a good job.
I like these two as chefs but the show was honking (although highly amusing)

WireCat · 07/02/2015 16:38

JM is ok. He's from Yorkshire. Just in case you didn't know.

My Saturday feels weird now I haven't had my Saturday kitchen fix.

WireCat · 07/02/2015 16:38

Sorry StillSaying, I missed your post!

StillStayingClassySanDiego · 07/02/2015 16:45

Grin great minds and all that.

Lunaballoon · 07/02/2015 16:48

Stramash - what a great word Behooven. Describes today's SK to a tee!

Behooven · 07/02/2015 16:52

It was like a comedy sketch today. Pretty funny. It's hard to basically as lib & small talk through the normal / awkward silence bits. I love Tony Singh. The other bloke was a bit bumbly & clueless. The gallery probably needed a stiff drink & a lie down after today Grin

iklboo · 07/02/2015 18:31

Ad lib, not as lib. Bloody phone.

TheHoundsBitch · 07/02/2015 18:33

Ah. Gutted I missed it, I love Tony Singh :)

iklboo · 07/02/2015 18:36

He was in his kilt & on top form. Should be on iplayer.

TheHoundsBitch · 08/02/2015 10:13

I'll have a look :)

EnriqueTheRingBearingLizard · 09/02/2015 20:13

I really loved it. Such a change from the awful James Martin and much more informative about the hows and whys of what the cooks are doing as well.

Tony Singh's on an hour long cookery/travel programme tonight on BBC2 at 9pm. 'Tony Singh's India' part of the Cook Abroad series of six.

EnriqueTheRingBearingLizard · 09/02/2015 21:03

Tony Singh on now BBC2.

Behooven · 09/02/2015 22:14

Watched it, really nice guy! His accent and humour just cracks me up too (I'm also Scottish btw)

iklboo · 09/02/2015 23:23

Caught the end of the Tony Singh programme - I'll watch it all on iplayer tomorrow.

I keep imagining Tony Singh & Will I Am on the same show. Very 'larger than life'!!
