I have just seen the first ever live natural birth on TV

Quite by chance really. Flicking between channels and ended up watching City Hospital on BBC1. And lo and behold a woman has just given birth to a baby girl. live in TV, naturally.

Wasn't intrusive at all, and they left as soon as baby was born. Now gone back to see baby with mummy and daddy. Daddy missed the birth as he was on bus trying to get back after having to take their older child to nursery! But he can now see it on film

same here!! it was fantastic!!

I had DS there and used to work there - most surreal seeing one of my ex colleagues on there last month - all I could remember was that he took time off sick after his hamster died...

i cried, can't help myself when i watch births on the telly. What a sap! was also a bit worried for the baby, glad it was ok.
