Lost brought up by sky

coppertop · 23/10/2006 21:48

I think Ch4 put a lot of people off by having so many advert breaks when Lost was on. Sometimes it was literally 3 minutes before the first break. Hopefully Sky One won't make the same mistake.

ep1 is on a link i found but you have to join to get it. i joined y'day but still haven;'t recieved my email confirming it and taht was supposed to only take 10 mins!

Gobbledispook · 24/10/2006 09:04

Join www.lost-forum.com - as a member you can access the 'episode downloads' area (you cannot if you are not registered but it's only like registering on MN). In the episode dowloads area the links to all the places you can download from are posted almost as soon as the show has been aired in the US. It's easy peasy - you can choose which method of downloading suits you.

I think so - the first one is good and raises lots more questions. Liked the second one, not too bothered about the third one - but mostly cos it was a Locke and Eko episode and they are not my favourite characters.

Gobbledispook · 24/10/2006 13:09

I prefer the episodes centred around Jack, Kate and Sawyer.

MrsFish · 25/10/2006 20:48

Only just read this news. Am totally pi$$ed off. We have freeview but not Sky, and DH refuses to dowload anything from the net

tigertum · 25/10/2006 22:22

Why doesn't your DH like downloading stuff Mrs Fish?My DH has got ot down to a fine art and we have been watching the new series plus some FANTASTIC stuff that hasn't been aried in the UK yet. We rarely watch normal telly now because we have been watching stuff that we have chosen & downloaded.

If it's technical, I can give you some advice.

MrsFish · 26/10/2006 08:14

He doesn't like me downloading torrents, because he doesn't want the computers get a virus or anything. He knows how to do it, in fact he is very good with all things technical, if I pester him enough he might

We are also out in the sticks, so even though we have broadband it is a very slow connection, so it would take forever to download anything.

UnquietDad · 26/10/2006 10:51

But after you've downloaded them can you only watch them on the PC? Or can you copy to DVD-R and warch them on your normal DVD player?

themoon666 · 26/10/2006 11:28

Do you think Channel 4 will still show them, but a few months later? Am seriously worried I'm going to miss Lost and DH.

I could copy them to dvd... would that stop any problems of viruses etc?

Kaloo20 · 26/10/2006 16:38

I've already seen the first 3 of Series 3. ... They are fab. The first one picks up exactly where season two finishes and hooks you immediately.

MrsFish · 26/10/2006 20:39

I now have someone sourcing me the episodes so far

Anyone else having problems, I have seen this link on another forum

Sssshhhh! Have a lookat this

MrsFish · 26/10/2006 20:40

Oh and just scroll down till you see the Lost link.... enjoy

noseymum · 20/11/2006 08:41

Mrs Fish, what's happened to the link? It's not displaying anything. Anyone know how I can watch it? Saw it last night on skyone , but am a bit confused so want to see it again!

Thanks
