I don't have sky but think it looks brilliant. Will have to hope it comes out on DVD!

Have fun!

I'll have to wait until I've finished nights now!

Pissed off as we have Virgin which doesn't have Sky Atlantic (can't get Sky where we live unless we erect the dish on a 10 foot pole on top of the roof). I really want to see this too. Sad

HumphreyCobbler · 29/01/2015 18:01

Bugger I didn't realise this was on Sky! I really wanted to watch it.

SingRingPing · 29/01/2015 18:10

Going to put it on series record and start watching it once we've finished watching our current boxset! Let's hope it lives up to the hype!

juneau · 29/01/2015 18:12

Yes! I've been looking forward to it for weeks. I love a spot of Nordic noir.

nulgirl · 29/01/2015 18:12

I'm going to record it to watch later this week. Does anyone know whether it has any sci-fi aspects to it? I loathe anything supernatural/ sci-fi so I'm hoping that it is just a straight drama/ thriller. First hint of aliens, ghosts or other-worldly occurances and it is getting switched off.

MarytheContrary · 29/01/2015 18:13

I'm planning on watching it - whilst recording CBB (I like to whizz through all the Perez shit) Grin

OhYouBadBadKitten · 29/01/2015 18:14

I really want to watch it - I've been to where it was filmed, but I too am on Virgin.

Marmot75 · 29/01/2015 18:14

I think it looks good and I'd like to watch but I'm another who has Virgin so we don't have Sky Atlantic :(

EachandEveryone · 29/01/2015 18:26

It's shocking how people miss out.

Would love to see it but I don't have sky Atlantic either.

RaptorInaPorkPieHat · 29/01/2015 18:34

I'm hoping it's going to like Broadchurch on ice Grin

AWimbaWay · 29/01/2015 18:39

Ha, I'm the opposite to you nulgirl, really hoping for a bit of Sci-fi, get the impression it's just a straight thriller from what I've read though.

MarytheContrary · 29/01/2015 18:49

According to the write up in TV times it is going to be a bit 'woo' Wink Can't wait - have some cava chilling in the fridge ready for 9 pm ifIcanwaitthatlong

MarytheContrary · 29/01/2015 18:50

Why do my sodding strike out attempts never bloody work?

EachandEveryone · 29/01/2015 23:04

How was it?

OP posts:
Armpitt · 29/01/2015 23:05

so it it shit then? Neednt I to bother?

Armpitt · 29/01/2015 23:06

Telegraph review is NOT good

OhYouBadBadKitten · 29/01/2015 23:18

I want to see just one episode. Where it is filmed is the only ugly bit of iceland we found with an aluminium smelting plant, the bar/hotel felt like a last frontier place with absolutely nothing else to see or do.

DilysMoon · 29/01/2015 23:22

I really enjoyed it Grin

NiceCupOfTeaAndALittleSitDown · 29/01/2015 23:28

Feeling left out (another Virgin customer) - I do wish they wouldn't taunt us non-Sky viewers with adverts though, looked really good.

Ledkr · 29/01/2015 23:33

I liked it too. Reminded me of Fargo!

VivaLeBeaver · 30/01/2015 19:31

Did anyone else think that the body of the mammoth in the perma frost has released some sort of virus which has made the boy Ill? I thought something alluded to that as some sort of dust seemed to be coming out the carcass? Will it all turn a bit woo?

BooToYouToo · 31/01/2015 14:50

Hmm, it was a bit rubbish. Hubby called it Eastenders on ice as EVERYONE seemed to have issues.

The acting of the adulterous waitress was truly bad, she bit her lips so many times I thought she'd draw blood.

Rather too many Brits in it for credibility so we gave up after the scientist was killed.

Not a patch on Fargo, or even Shetland!
