Is the Pacific as good as band of brothers?

I adored b of b. I see that Pacific is by the same team. Is it as good? I was FAR too emotionally invested in b of b and I want to replicate that but fear Pacific may not the be the one....

It's very different, more gruesome and if possible more action packed. But it's sooooo good. We watched it ages ago and just bought the box set ready to rewards.

Yeah it is. It took me a little longer to get into it than BoB but once I did I was hooked.
