I am finding this strangely addictive but are the people in it the most unlikeable bunch ever or is it me?? The mum lorelie is just horrendous.

I've watched it all, when on maternity leave also. I absolutely hated it yet couldn't stop watching. Couldn't stand loreli and think the girl who plays Rory is dreadful - however it's worth watching for kirk alone. He's genius and deserves a spin off series.

Loved Richard and Emily too, and Rory's boyfriends except the boring one at the start. Sorry for the hate!

Totally agree. Single mum with teenage child(ren), immature and self-centred but her heart is in the right place.

I love Gilmore Girls! It's so cosy and comforting, I often just have it on in the background when I'm doing work. It's a shame that the last couple of seasons went downhill. The ending was ok, I just didn't like how they got there. (April, grrr).

Parenthood is a pretty amazing drama which I netflixed through while on maternity leave. It's interesting seeing a Lorelei type character with a more realistic daughter.

Did anyone else see Bunheads? Same creator as GG but only ran for one season. I watched it on streaming sites as it didn't make it to the UK. Such a shame it got cancelled!
