I don't flatter myself with much except a capacity to retain a sense of humour about others and about myself. It gets fucking lonely, I can tell you.

I had no intention of offending you. I was contributing to a thread in Telly Addicts about a programme that interested me.

If some of my posts were confusing, then I apologise. I don't think they warranted forensic analysis, but hey-ho.

I will say for the umpteeth time that whatever I think of Christopher Jeffereries' personality, he in no way deserved his treatment and I am glad he has secured some redress.

It would be nice if people acknowledged that.

Horrible timing, but I think it's a very important film.
Bloody Sky are still at it. That poor woman who had posted loads of horrible comments about, not to, the Macanns killed herself as a direct result of Sky News' hounding.

My earlier post genuinely wasn't snidey - I'm sorry if you are feeling got at but I think people were genuinely perplexed - I was - and that's what I was trying to say.
And my son is one of those weird, socially awkward folk so it is close to home.
