And your point is ? This is how I saw this programme, TwelveLegged put it much more eloquently than me.

I have yet to see a programme of this type where there isnt a huge element of feckless parenting. I've never see a programme where the children were poor but lived in a nice clean house without trashed filthy furniture and bedding...if there is bedding at all. And whats with all the grafitti and scribbling on walls and furniture

Obviously this is what the programme makers want to show as they think its good viewing but it does a big diservice to those who are genuinly struggling.

oldraver i can see your point. i was sort of thinking the same. But then if the parents/family are really struggling money wise i think it has a knock on effect with other things. like feeling helpless depression. so then find it difficult to manage everyday things like cleaning. i see there was no bedding on one of the beds im not sure about the others. i guess the child could have been a bed wetter so they have to keep washing it.
