Just look at this song list

Andrea Faustini
Summertime (by Ella Fitzgerald)

Lauren Platt
Smile (by Nat King Cole)

Only The Young
I Wanna Be Like You (From The Jungle Book)

Stereo Kicks
Still TBC!

Ben Haenow
Cry Me A River (by Michael Buble)

Fleur East
Bang Bang (byJessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj)

Jay James
Empire State of Mind/New York New York medley (by Alicia Keys/Frank Sinatra)

Stevi Ritchie
Mambo Number 5/ She Bangs medley (by Lou Bega/Ricky Martin)

I'm sure an orchestra might be involved somewhere, but most of this list is frankly rubbish. Twice. Grin
Someone got 'Bang' and 'Band' mixed up.
The best one there is 'TBC' Grin

They are all going to be drowned out by the brass section, aren't they? Grin

See you later.

Bring nibbles.

Iirc the Horrible Histories boys did the Christmas Football scene less mawkishly and much better.

NoisyBrain · 15/11/2014 20:33

My great uncle, who was deafened by shellfire at the Somme, and who saw his best friend blown up to next to him, is no doubt turning in his grave.

CalamitouslyWrong · 15/11/2014 20:33

That's pretty much how I feel about it, lotta. It's just more of the same cynical shit that produced last week's offensive group sing.

TheFairyCaravan · 15/11/2014 20:33

They're selling the chocolate to raise money for the Royal British Legion, so as they help the Forces and their families, past and present, it's fine by me.

I love this song, though.

SCHWING

TheJiminyConjecture · 15/11/2014 20:35

So you know they're siblings innit

CalamitouslyWrong · 15/11/2014 20:35

Lamenting lozza making the song more about crying and feeling miserable than smiling.

Raahh · 15/11/2014 20:35

IT'S THE SWING!!

Pete, if you do end up going, make sure you go into the traditional cookie shop that's near the main square, the name of which I can't remember. That stuff is the best! It's sold by weight, and you will spend at least €30, if you are like me, but those will be the tastiest €30 spent.

RudolphUcker · 15/11/2014 20:35

And we have a swing.
Shoes? Can anyone confirm the shoes situation?

slithytove · 15/11/2014 20:35

I'm really starting to like lauren

CalamitouslyWrong · 15/11/2014 20:35

Swing and no shoes!!! It's xfactor bingo.

dillite · 15/11/2014 20:35

Is she wearing Cheryl's dress from the other week?

TheJiminyConjecture · 15/11/2014 20:36

She's like a joy vacuum

BOFster · 15/11/2014 20:36

This is very Disney. She's like a little mermaid.

Raahh · 15/11/2014 20:36

She's lucky the band are loud enough to drown her duff notes. Nearly.

OP posts:
Awks · 15/11/2014 20:36

She's not making me smile. She's making me want to stick needles in my eyes and socks in my ears.
