I am a couple of episodes behind. I've just seen the one where the cliffhanger at the end was that the dome began to shrink.

I enjoyed the book. Series 1 was OK, but series 2 has got beyond ridiculous. Jumping the shark would be an understatement.

isnt the book different to the show? i saw a page on Stephen King explaining that the book ending wouldnt work on TV?

Very. Same premise, some of the same characters, a bit of plot overlap but that's it.
