I did wonder why carol kept grinning in that way. It was bloody scary !

Monroe · 03/03/2015 16:35

Carols awesomeness increased another ten fold last night. I admit I didn't get it until the end. I thought the bit with the gun was because she was still hurting from being hit by the car. I was wondering why no one stepped up to help her. Loved the bit at the end where they revealed their plan. I wonder if they had planned it all along. Daryl telling her she looked ridiculous was great Smile

I'm hoping Morgan has the gun. It's about time he turned up.

And how young did Rick look! Hairdresser lady needs to back off Angry she isn't worthy of him .

And yes, I thought it was Enid (thought her name was Eve!) in the house at the beginning. Didn't they say she'd been there months already? Wouldn't someone have attacked by now if that was the plan. I get the feeling non of them are going to be too happy about being cooped up all the time. Rick wasn't surprised at all to see Coral wandering around.

Monroe can I just say that you disavowed an interest in Monroe from Revolution on another thread and yet here you are again commenting on a thread with a character called Deanna Monroe?

Der, Der Durr!

If I was as twitchy as Rick, it would set me off. Not as much as to put on a cardi and slacks like Carol though.

Friend or foe? Wink

RufusTheReindeer · 03/03/2015 17:15

Just read an interesting article on the online Forbes magazine (I'm shit at linking)

It talks about the "new bad guys", the author of the article is saying that maybe Rick and the group are the new baddies

Monroe · 03/03/2015 18:12

limited I know! When she said her name I thought "oh great, no one is going to believe my name isn't linked to a far fetched post apocalyptic tv show now"

limitedperiodonly · 03/03/2015 18:17

Yes, Monroe,

iklboo · 03/03/2015 19:08

Wait! I thought you were named after the Blutbad in Grimm, Monroe? Smile

Monroe · 03/03/2015 20:12

Just googled Blutbad. Definitely not named after him either, even though the resemblance is uncanny Grin

loveareadingthanks · 03/03/2015 20:14

ooh just seen the episode and loved it. especially Carol's butter wouldn't melt act - I wonder if that has fooled Deana? and rick's comment at the end.

susiedaisy · 03/03/2015 20:16

Does Aaron have a slight Irish accent or am I imagining it??

miniavenger · 03/03/2015 20:53

Oh hoo just got recommended this thread- awesome!

midori1999 · 03/03/2015 22:34

I seem to be watching it again... (It came on while I was cleaning the kitchen, so I made a hot chocolate and came in the living room to watch it)

I find it hard to say much without saying too much as although I haven't read all the comics, I know a lot if what happens in them and although they don't always follow the comics exactly, it's hard not to associate the two. There are a couple of groups of 'villains' in the comics that haven't yet been seen in the TV series though.

anonacfr · 03/03/2015 22:44

Glenn's hotness went up tenfold with that put down and punch.

And Rick discussing taking over the town... I nominate the Egg Grimes appreciation club as next thread title. Grin

Suggestions for new thread title:

  • We bought dinner
  • The Junior League
limitedperiodonly · 03/03/2015 23:12

I vote for We Brought Dinner

ZacharyQuack · 03/03/2015 23:19

Ooh yes, "bRought" not "bought".

There are no shops open to buy dinner!

RufusTheReindeer · 03/03/2015 23:44

I vote "we brought dinner"

limitedperiodonly · 03/03/2015 23:44

Go for We Brought Dinner ZacheryQuack.

Really good title.

We're about 40 posts short though so someone else might come in with a better one.

But I don't think they will Grin

Anyway, i've had to delete the episode. I usually watch at least twice but the planner is getting very low.

RufusTheReindeer · 03/03/2015 23:46

Would not be too unhappy with "you look ridiculous in that" either

limitedperiodonly · 03/03/2015 23:50

Yes, I like Glenn more and more after him putting Aiden on his arse.

I found Daryl's pacing a bit cliched though.

Judith is adorable.

limitedperiodonly · 03/03/2015 23:59

Yes, that's a good one too Rufus.

I'll just let you and zacary arm wrestle.

And then when you least expect it, I will become the ninja that is Carol, who is so superbad she doesn't need a shampoo and cut and overcome you.

Except I haven't actually thought of a new thread title though.

BingoBonkers · 04/03/2015 00:43

I vote for "You look ridiculous in that".

Interesting episode. Carol is one clever lady.

I've not read the comics but all I do know is that not everything is as it seems. Never is!

I can't get used to Egg being in it! How did be manage to look so haggard, old and feral and then a quick shower, shave and hair cut and he looks ten years younger?

ZacharyQuack · 04/03/2015 01:53

Daryl just said "You look ridiculous", which would make a good thread title.

hopefulpuffin · 04/03/2015 03:26

Not sure this has been mentioned yet but how did Carol (and the others who've showered) get clean clothes that fit so quickly?

Do you think Alexandria has a clothes stash? And wasn't Rick in a sheriff's uniform at the end (I may have dreamed that part)? Maybe it was just his belt. Or I need to chalk it up to TV magic.

Presumably there were some things left be former occupants but didn't Deanna say something like it was a new subdivision? So how many homes would have been occupied? From experience, developers furnish the models but not all the houses. So where'd they get all the furniture from? How big is the subdivision? Clearly it's fancy since it has running water and Deanna said something about it being Eco-friendly.

And where the heck is this subdivision? No doubt everyone from Northern Virginia (including me) are wondering. Because there aren't many places in the real Alexandria, that would have a wooded area with a dumpy house on it - where Rick hid his gun.
